Oh Pixlbit, I just saw the weather forecast for today and it’s going to hit triple digits. Last week it was 70. Following the tread from last week, I blame Romo. Anyways hello Pixlbit guys and gals, it’s Friday, the happiest day of the week. I’m happy because the weekend is here for me, even though I have a couple of minor things to take care of, I’m staring at an afternoon filled with video game baseball, and maybe a steak for dinner. So how are you folks? Anything good happen this week? I had a couple of fun things happen and that will be the topics covered in today’s Quick Hits!
Actually, I seek my next game and I can't make up my mind.
I mentioned that March had been an exhausting month and while April was better on that front, it was also a busier one. And, well, I found myself spread thin with a few too many games going at once.
A friend of mine is in a band called Winchester Revival. His name is Matt (because one can never have too many friends named Matt who are also musicians.) Since I like to support my friends I'm doing my bit by giving them a plug here.
Those of you who know me or are familiar with my blogs and articles know that I love Kirby games. It’s probably my favorite Nintendo franchise. I like Kirby games better than Metroid, better than Zelda, heck, even more than Mario games! So in honor of the release of Kirby Triple Deluxe on the 3DS, here’s a Kirby blog to celebrate! In this one, we’ll look at five Kirby games that I think they should make next!
I'm actually finding myself excited for MK8 despite Sonic wanting me to swear off the series. The new anti-gravity mechanics look fun, the tracks look like some of the best yet, and the online looks like Nintendo's best (not that it's saying much). The roster, on the other hand, leaves a bit to be desired. So here's a list of five characters I feel should be in this game. Well, a few more, but some are the kind of thing where I might as well throw the other in.
Can I get the mattress prices written down at the register? That way I can answer when people call about it over the phone..
So a 17-year-old wanting to study medicine wrote an essay that concerned the complexity of music and it got him accepted to all eight Ivy League universities and four other institutions of higher learning. He went with Yale.
So after a little wheeling and dealing I scored my second game sorry I didnt put the blogs together but I just got this game for the ps3.
So there seems to be a big heated debate on Wolfenstien right now on whether the game being full priced is wrong because there isnt a multiplayer mode. People that are mad about there being no multiplayer claim that its a crime since multiplayer should be attached to a shooter type game as if it is required.
We have lost another great actor, the role I most remember him in was Who Framed Roger Rabbit, which is still one of my fave comedy movies ever. I even like the Mario Bros movie everyone hates in which he played Mario.
What's up Pixlbit! Maybe some of you have heard about the Disney Infinity news. If not, Disney Infinity just announced that Marvel will be coming to the game. Disney Infinity is a pretty fun game. Especially when you play with someone. When Disney Infinity first hit the stores, I didn't pay attention to it because I just saw it as Skylanders with Disney characters. The weekend of the release, my girlfriend and I went to Disneyland and literally every store at Disneyland and California Adventure had the Disney Infinity starter set and figures. So I figured I might as well check it out. The following week I found myself at GameStop buying the set.
Happy Wednesday Pixlbit. I just watched the presentation about the new Disney Infinity 2.0 which is going include the Marvel Superheroes, which means I am about to buy more plastic figures and a new starter pack. I only caught the last 10 minutes of the presentation, but what I did see I liked, especially with the improvements to the Toy Box Mode which makes it easier to not only create your own town, but you can also add Tower Defense and Dungeon Crawler games to it. I think I'm more excited about using Marvel characters in the Story Mode but in the past Infinity game I spent the most time playing within the Toy Box.
April has been a pretty crazy month but it might be getting a nice ending, a super nice ending. I got a call today from Kohls about a job interview. I don't know if it's for a part time or full time but regardless I'm happy. I kinda wanna get away from Goodwill. I've been there for a year now and I'm ready to jump ship. It's given me a good experience of course but at the same time I have had enough of the drama that seems to find its way through there. The job isn't guaranteed yet since it's just an interview but hey, it's a step.
So after getting to gamestop where I was going to pick up Folklore to my surprise I found these two which in Austin Texas is nearly impossible to find.
