Top 250 RPGs: 160-151

I’ve played more RPGs than you.  That isn’t an insult; you may consider it a compliment if you wish.  I’m not necessarily proud of the fact, honestly.  If I could get a girl to talk to me, I wouldn’t tell them I’ve played so many role-playing games.  Maybe I would.  Is that the kind of thing they like talking about?  Anyway, because I’ve played more RPGs than you, I’m in a unique position to tell you which ones are the best, and which ones are 161st best.  Hint: there are six games that are the 161st best.  But honestly, I like to write about RPGs, so here is a list if you like that sort of thing.

So I thought I'd do this since many of you guys are doing it and I've enjoyed seeing what you actually look like. I've been able to get to know some of you since I've joined and learned what you like and don't like, and seeing your appearance makes me feel like I know you more. I'm going to take you on a short history through my life.

Hey everyone. I asked a somewhat serious question in my last blog about what could be tasteful or distasteful as story in a game. I read the few replies I got, mulled it over some, and just spent two hours churning this out. It's one cutscene in the game, and I know it's kinda long, but bear with it please. I don't think this would be considered NSFW, but I will forewarn that there is some dark/mature/twisted material in this, such as off-screen killing of young children, a somewhat innocent worker being killed by a protagonist, and scenes from a protagonist's past of her being a subject of human experiments. Feel free to yell at me in the comments if you feel it is too bad. My goal for the emotions I want to draw are a mixture of anger, sadness, and pain for Sophie. I know it's a fine line, and will seriously look into any suggestions you all make! This isn't one of those instances some creators do of saying "i'll take it into consideration" and then completely ignore it. I want to make this something that hits the right buttons, and hearing others' thoughts on it help with that tremendously. So, let me know what you think, and without further ado...

Yes, I am a little late to this particular party, but after quite some time being completely uninterested in Moba games, I have now become addicted. Seriously. I'm barely playing anything else. I've spent 6 hours on it today. It's fucking nuts! I definitely see the appeal now.

So I finally got my Wii U in the mail (took you long enough UPS). Spent some time with New Super Mario Bros U and a little with Super Metroid (I mean, 30 cents. Can't go wrong with that). I noticed something really interesting during this: I prefer to play Mario on the TV while I prefer Metroid on the Gamepad's screen. Could not help but wonder why that was.

I am excited.

Both Tim Vines, director at Civil Liberties Australia, and Peter Schaar, Berlin's federal data protection commissioner, have questioned Xbox One's need to have a microphone/camera device (Kinect 2.0, in this case) in order to operate the console, and argue the machine could simply be a thinly veiled surveillance device.

Im sorry this is late. I had a very busy day at work since I was one of the few who did have to go to work. We had a 50% sale at Goodwill so it was a crazy day for me. When I got home all I did was laze around and watch youtube vids. For anyone I havent replied to a comment jsut yet, give me jsut a bit more time. I have had a few crazy days and running on low sleep hasnt been helping. Im still in good spirits though about the coming months with video games and Im gonna work to build me a gaming comp. I decided to say fuck it to trying to find a good premade comp and just do it custom. My friend who could make it into a buisness because he is that good at it is gonna help me with it. I jsut got to buy the parts one at a time and once I have it all he will build it. I think Im gonna change my flexi to a cheap laptop t use for blogging and social stuff liek facebook. That way the price i pay each 2 weeks is way cheaper and more money for parts and other random crap.

I was watching the Don Knotts movie The Ghost and Mr. Chicken (see trailer below) and the segments in the haunted house, with its small and densly detailed rooms, and all the cliches such as secret passages, cobwebs everywhere, pictures that change, and a creepy organ that plays by itself all made me think of Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon.

RPG fans are a bunch of entitled little babies. There, I fucking said it, now read on or just leave your shit on my comments section for me to laugh at. I am fucking SICK of all these RPG fans crying, "WAAAAAAH we don't have enough RPGs on consoles, we have to play our games on portables and Kickstarters!!!! Also Bob Mackey gave Ni No Kuni a C+ and his opinion holds SOOOOOOOO much wait that it'll hurt the genre's comeback."

Bionic Commando Review

You’ve been duped!  You were expecting a review of the NES game, weren’t you?  This isn’t that.  No, wait, please don’t leave.  You know the Nintendo version of Bionic Commando is a classic, but you don’t know anything about the Gameboy version, do you?  This is a sad state of affairs for a purported expert of classic games, like yourself.  Well, this is a review for that version of the game, and hopefully you will learn something from this review.  But you probably won’t.
