It finally bit the dust. Can't believe it lasted this long as I've had it for about a decade now. It was brand new when I got it and I always treated it carefully. But everything has it's time to go. It gave me many hours of enjoyment and will be missed. So now I have several options available and was hoping for some input from you. I'm sure you have had the same issues with PS1 and other consoles before.
OMG! OMG! OMG! Surprised no one has posted this already. Backers get to suggest sanity effects. Come on Denis, redeem thyself! There's a trailer too.
Here's a Cracked article detailing reasons why Cinco de Mayo is celebrated by Americans (other than booze). It's humorous and interesting in spots; also, apparently I really need to try this guy's salsa. Only my dad's guacamole tastes better on chips anyway, I bet.
I mean that in the professional sense. I know all jobs have there downsides and so reviewing video games would too but it would be a great dream job for me. Reviewers also normally get games a few weeks ahead of time before a release date. That to me is a nice bonus, especially for games it gets hard to wait for. Animal Crossing is one of those type of games.
I respect your time, so I'll keep this to the point. Try Candy Box. It's a browser game, it's free, and it can get pretty addictive. Saying much else could spoil the game, so I'll stop there. Check it out.
Hello fellow gamers. I'm sorry I havent posted in awhile. I think if things keep going the way it is....busy! I'll probably just make one post a week and that will be on saturday night.
Hey everybody! Do you know how many attempts it took to not fuck up that title? And this sentence. And that sentence. Ok, I'm going to stop that now, it's silly. Silly is a hard word to type. I wrote Silluy so many times iyt wasn't funny. But I'm slowing my words down so you peeps can read it. Oh yeah I just said peeps. I'm gangsta yo! AAnd oh so very white.
I just finished Bioshock this morning... I seem to play most of my games in the morning, interesting. This was the third, or fourth time that I have played through it. I did enjoy it, but not as much as I did the first play through of the game.
IT'S MORPHIN TIME! Whoooooosh!! NOW LET'S KICK SOME BUTT!!!
As I write this, there are 15 more days left of school which means 15 more days of long night shifts that cut into my free time (aka gaming time), sleep patterns and overall awareness of society. After May 25, that ends and for the next 3 months, everything reverts back to day shifts. Lovely, happy, managable day shifts. I wake up when everyone else does, sleep when everyone else does and not feel like a damn zombie like only a select percentage do.
Created via Wii U, about Wii U, for... um... you.
So I'm sitting here in bed, reading the Pixlbit front page via Wii U's browser, when i notice the 'These people like Pixlbit' Facebook widget. Normally I wouldn't think twice, but I noticed Ben's (BrokenH) av pic and it reminded me of earlier days at 1UP, as it is the same he used then.
For S&G's, I click the pic of Ben in the widget, and find myself at his Facebook page. Big deal, right? Wow, Facebook.
The surprise, though, is that after trying different ways over the months to bypass Facebook's mobile version on the Wii U browser, i finally did on accident. It isn't PC perfect, and some features will retrieve the mobile version if clicked, but a lot of the javascript is there, albiet wonky.
Thanks, Ben, for inadvertently guiding me to this discovery. If anyone has any other Wii U web-navigating tips, please share!
ps, blogging on wii u is not recommended.
There are those things which come around and define parts of a generation, be it from the broader political or social influences or from pop culture trends which, as flash in the pan as they may seem, break out of the status of fad to achieve the level of a cultural pillar. For nearly the last decade, the zombie has become a trope of the American entertainment culture, having been resurrected for films, TV shows, comics, and games. I suppose they never actually left, but these undead creatures haven't been such a hallmark of our culture since perhaps when they first hit the scene in the 1960s. Be it the T-Virus, Rage, or any other form or proprietary contagion, everyone's been infected by zombiemania!
So today is a great friday after hearing this from IGN and i can say it made my year.
Something didn't seem right with that guy at the mall. How could he have known we were in his Brothers store back East? Rochelle asked the group as they settled in back on the campus.
I've been neglecting blogging for a while aside from a few half assed posts mainly because of school. Once we hit the last week of the month, I'll be back in full force and will be writing on all the games from this year I'll catch up on (whether or not these are sober or drunk is up in the air...or a vote). For now, however, I just felt like writing a quick blog on my favorite series to write about and my favorite multiplayer: Pokemon.
