After weeks of teasing and scheduling conflicts we finally bring you the Femme Fatales episode of Nerds Without Pants! Games and tech writer for the International Business Times Lisa Eadicicco joins us to talk about our favorite polygonal ladies, but we start off with what we’ve been playing. This week the crew covers Tekken Tag Tournament 2, FIFA ’13, FTL, Borderlands 2, and Resident Evil 6 among other things.

Well, it's official. Nick and Chessa now have their copy of Borderlands 2 and have spent quite a bit of time online with fellow PixlTalker, Jason Ross, hunting vaults. Joaquim, despite not having Borderlands 2, still joins in on the Borderlands fun with his GOTY copy of the original game. The crew serves up some comparisons of the two games, talks their experiences with both, and for good measure, Nick even throws in his 2 cents on the latest from Team Ninja, Dead or Alive 5.

In the PixlBit mailbox, we get a lot of press releases. Some are informative, some are hilarious, and some are just junk. Rarely do I dismiss one from Nintendo outright, but when they sent over a release about Art Academy and Crosswords Plus I did just that. I could barely read the title of the email without nodding off. Come to find out, buried at the very bottom is a huge slap in my face and yours too. Nintendo is once again trying to pass off the NES version of Donkey Kong as the true form of the game, while continuing to ignore the arcade version - the game responsible for shaping the company.

Borderlands 2 season is upon us! But wait! While trying to play online with PixlBit's own Nick and Chessa, we hit a snag! Hear more about the problem in PB & Jason 103! Also in this issue: A massive Mass Effect mistake, a super Super Smash Bros. Melee tournament, Wii U launch pros and cons, and something I'd like to call "A fraction of a quarter of Kingdom Hearts 1.5 and two-thirds." Click through for the download and streaming links!

A while ago, I made the decision, as most parents do, to involve my children in my hobbies. I did this by playing catch with them in the backyard, going to baseball games, playing video games, and most recently, writing a co-op review for PixlBit. If there’s one thing I’ve learned from the experience, it’s that kids will surprise you with just how mature their perspective can be, even if they aren’t able to properly articulate it yet.

You were probably expecting a really entertaining discussion about our favorite female video game characters with a real life lady guest. Sadly, this episode of Nerds Without Pants is another sausage fest. We hope we can bring that topic to you in the future, but for now please enjoy this free form episode.

We’re at a crossroads, my friends. Now is a critical time to set out to change the world’s attitudes towards our beloved video games. Even though we have to suffer through mainstream press articles about how big of a money maker Call of Duty is relative to Hollywood blockbusters, and even though everyone from toddlers to grandmas got pretty nuts about Angry Birds there for a while – gaming is still looked down upon. As more and more people who grew up playing games stick with them as adults, our little hobby has been gaining more and more legitimacy, but it’s still not enough.

After making a few predictions last week, Jason and Nick sit down to discuss the results of Nintendo's Wii U Press Event and the events that have followed. Nintendo TVii gets some air time and its potential operability is discussed in detail. The conversation also covers the pricing structures of the system, as well as the strength of the launch line-up and window.

This week's PB & Jason is summed up by the abstract above. Hear about the PC version of Borderlands 2! Brave the face of people seriously unhappy over the idea that Bayonnetta 2 will be released only on the Wii U! Learn more about the deals for Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate! Oh, also, if you're willing, keep listening to learn a smidgen about what's going on between Amazon and Nintendo. Those of you who make it all the way to the end of PB & Jason will be able to hear a smidgen more about the setting for the RPG I'm planning to consider creating! Nobody’s perfect. We all have our inner demons—those things that we do even though we know we shouldn’t. That’s what this episode of NWP is all about: vices, and how they work into our video games. Since this is technically the second part of episode 5, we skip what we’ve been playing and jump into the discussion.

This past Monday night, Jason, Nick, and Joaquim sat down to record the latest episode of PixlTalk after the crew took a week off for the holidays. We talk Xenoblade, Mass Effect 3, and Borderlands 2. As the title indicates, we take on the "Girlfriend Mode" controversy head on and discuss just how ridiculous the outrage of the comments were.

...It's my illusion! But really, this PB & Jason is about the Wii U. There's no two ways about it. If you're just looking for flat-out details on the Wii U, check out PixlBit's news post, but if you want some color commentary on the entire deal, you're looking for this Week's PB & Jason! Well, we goofed. Due to circumstances beyond our control, this episode of NWP is woefully lacking a second segment. Worry not though, true believers! We’ll be bringing you the intended topic of this episode (vices and video games) next week. So sit back and enjoy what we’ve been playing and some bloopers.

Join Jason and Chris as they discuss the games and shows at PAX prime. Those of you who listen in can expect Epic Mickey 2 impressions, and quite a bit of hands-on Wii U talk, as well. Listening deeper into the show will provide a bit of a breakdown on the indie titles available to play at PAX. Those curious about the indie title of which Chris could not recall the name should know the game is called "AntiChamber." After the talk about the games on the expo's floor, Chris mentions his experiences with the shows and panels at PAX. As a bonus for my loyal listeners, the beginning of the podcast includes new information about that albino GameCube controller featured last week! Click through for the download and streaming links!

It has been quite an uneventful week, but we're still playing video games. JD, Jason, and Joaquim talk about their experiences with what they're currently playing. We then introduce a new segment which rumors say is called "Rumor Mongering," and then head on to discuss the iOS release of "The World Ends with You", and end the podcast with a quick chat on the supposed Wii U release date leak by PDP.

This week's PB & Jason deals with stores. Online stores specifically. Online stores and odd things with box arts, pricings, and, of course, the white GameCube controller I've recently discovered. Beyond that, there's mention of the upcoming PAX Prime, coming next weekend. PlayStation Vita firmware updates abound, as well. Now you can play PlayStation titles on your PSV! Oh, that's if it's on a specific list of nine games or you have a PlayStation 3 to send over some games. Also, the ability comes at the cost of one PSN account per PSV memory card. Wuh oh. We may have missed an episode, but we’re making it up to you this week with a bonus episode that gets us back on track. Even though we only recorded a week ago we have some games to talk about, including Sleeping Dogs, Final Fantasy VII PC, and Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance.

After last week's brief discussion of New Super Mario Bros. 2, Jason has quite a bit more to add after picking up the game at retail. Nick delves into Papo & Yo and Joaquim talks Pro Evolution Soccer. What we've been playing gives way to a bit of news discussion, focused mainly around the ABC bankruptcy of OnLive and its prompt segue to a new investor. Finally, we wrap the show with a bit of Mario-related trivia in honor of the release of New Super Mario Bros. 2 and the early discussions of the episode. Tune in and enjoy!

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the 90s. In this era we saw many things; we saw the true start of the (in)famous 16-bit console wars, the slow decline of arcades, the invention of CD-ROM media and the start of a tradition with mainline Mario titles. Thought it was nice the NES had three great Mario games? You are not going to see that again for a very long time. Make that nineteen years to be exact. Take a good long look over this fourth Mario Mania entry, because the 2-D Mario platforming ship is sailing and it feels like a bittersweet moment.

Dishonored is not a completely original work unto itself, but neither is it the latest numbered sequel in an epic franchise. It is an original IP, but it is not without lineage and influence. In a rare show of transparency, its creators, most notably Harvey Smith and Raphael Colontonio, have been extremely up front in citing their resources. From former projects to hot IPs, they’ve mentioned at least half a dozen games that they say have a lot in common with their upcoming release Dishonored, and we’ve found a few more that we think capture essential pieces of what makes Arkane Studios' upcoming release so interesting.

And we’re back! Scheduling problems and technical difficulties can’t keep your favorite nerd trio from removing their pants and talking about some awesome video games. We kick it off as always with what we’ve been playing, including PlayStation All-Stars, Little Big Planet Karting, Dyad, and Robot Rob’s hatred of Batman: Arkham City. Julian confesses his new nerd addiction: table top games!

After a hiatus due to vacations and general life stuff, Nick, Chessa, and Jason reunite for the seventy-fourth episode of PixlTalk. We kick things off with a bit of conversation on the Zelda symphony and segue into what we're all playing. The bulk of the cast is dedicated to the various announcements at Gamescom 2012, primarily Sony's news.

Want to purchase a 3DS XL directly from Amazon? That's not going to happen. Maybe Amazon can fulfill the purchase from another website, but it just isn't the same. What's going on? There are a few rumors, and you'll have to listen to PB & Jason #97 to find out! By listening, you'll also learn about the pre-E3 "Judges Week" all those video game media outlets aren't talking about! Don't forget some impressions of the Sega Vintage Collection: Streets of Rage title I'm currently playing. All this and more are found in PB & Jason #97! Click through for the download and streaming links.

We'll lead you through our two days spent at QuakeCon 2012, where the biggest draw is the huge LAN party that attracted over 3,500 participants this year. We'll show you the trek to the hotel in 107 degree Texas heat, panels with videogame luminaries, and everything in between.

The Wii U box art template has been confirmed by Nintendo and outside sources. Rumors are flying 'round about release dates of games and the console. What does this mean for the prediction made last week about a late September launch of the Wii U?
