What's up pixlpeeps?!
So I have been feng shui'ing my time lately, that is spending less time playing video games and doing more productive things like writing and working on art. But I'm still playing a lot, but hey progress is progress. I also have been mixing up that play list. As of late I only log into Destiny twice a week. Tuesday to knock out the weekly heroic for my 27 coins. And then Fri to go spend those coins with Xur. I'm just bored with it. At this point I am just grinding for experience and material to max out armor and weapons to use in the same tired ass handful of missions. The next dlc is going to raise the cap and make all my current gear obsolete anyway. And I have no intention of buying House of Wolves.
I did pick up Diablo III the other day and it is satisfying my need for loot oriented gameplay. Start a Monk and then a Demon Hunter , really liking the Demon Hunter. Hit lv 13 last night, miss these kind of games.
I also ended up getting the season pass for Borderlands TPS. The two new classes are pretty cool. The claptrap dlc is no TTADK but it is still very cool and very nostaligic if your a long time fan of the series.
I will likely have more on that later but for now that is all I got. Thanks for reading and happy late easter!
It's funny but when Diablo III first came out I was like "Meh!" and got TorchLight 2 instead. But I have to admit the Reaper of souls edition for the 360 is really very enjoyable! My first character is a demon-hunter but I cannot recall what level.
Diablo III is a good game that simply suffered from an unstable launch. But after Blizzard worked through the problems it really began to shine for me.
I really liked Baldurs Gate II so this was kind of a no brainer. Unfortunaltely I got just regular old Diablo III. It was in the $20 section, only copy there so I thought I better grab it. It was not until I started looking for the strat guide that I realized their was a better version. And its not like a "game of the year thing" either, I could not find any dlc for Diablo III on PSN to upgrade.
what kind of art do you do?
Lately it has been collage using left over card board I paint on from work and photos. But I also like to work with pen and ink and prisma color. I'm slowly trying to put together some graphic novels. I'm also painting some of my old sculpters I did in clay. I really got good with clay, that is until I no longer had acces to kiln. I kind of dabble in a bit of everything.
in another life, I hope I am a sculptor.
Somehow I managed to pull myself out of my Diablo III adiction. I don't know how, but I did. I'll be back though. The Ultimate Evil Edition is mighty tempting right now being under $20.
