It’s Monday Night here so I’m still on track with my goals for 2022. Good evening Pixlpeeps! So more running around this past week along with today…seriously have you ever had a day where everything just isn’t clicking? That was today for me. Trying to get paperwork printed when printers didn’t work, when the printer did work, it didn’t read the usb stick, pick up other paperwork in a busy location, people not knowing how to drive in a parking lot and then the cherry on top was Panera getting my lunch wrong. It was that kind of day. I did however play some games when I did have time.
Gems Of War - iOS/Steam: I’m sticking with these two platforms for this game especially since the Switch version doesn’t connect with everyone else. I have three Mythic cards! WOOOOO! I’m also running with a team that in PVP gets me wins, which is always fun. The underworld stuff I’m slowly mowing through but eventually I’ll take over all kingdoms. In the meantime it’s PVP and some of the side games.
Forza Horizon 4 - Steam: Ok so this is my go to especially since my consoles are packed up. Love this game. Lego is a lot of fun because it’s Lego. I unlocked some brick cars but mainly I’m rolling through with a regular truck. My one gripe is that all the cars I unlocked with buying the Ultimate is that all the DLC cars are in the DLC section and I have to individually add them. It sucks but it’s not bad.
Burnout Paradise Whatever It’s Called - Switch: Just bought this because it’s 9 bucks and it’s really fun to have in portable form. Earlier this morning I played a couple of races while lying in bed waiting for the alarm to go off.
Saints Row IV - Switch: This is another game I thought would be fun to own in portable mode. I added a bunch of cheats, played through enough of the game to where I’m in Steelport and ready to run wild. Since this would be my fourth playthrough (probably closer to fifth or sixth), I’m going to unlock all the stuff around town before I start messing with the aliens.
Mariokart 7 - 3DS: I was sitting in a truck in a parking lot waiting for a friend at a Medical Center (not going inside) so I put the seat all the way back and played through the Star Cup. I love the 3DS but damn you hands hurt. It’s skinny but other than that I love the dang thing. Oh I think I unlocked the option to use my Emoji or whatever it’s called.
Madden 20 - PC (Origin): The Dolphins won back to back Super Bowls beating the Cowboys again. This time there was no Tony Pollard but in the offseason I signed former featured Running Back of my first Super Bowl Austin Ekeler. 3 TDs and over 100 yards rushing got him the MVP. I haven't started a new season yet because I'm currently making new uniforms.
Currently right now I’m looking for a good Sodoku and Monopoly game for the iPad. Those two games would be perfect to have on a long trip especially since I already have enough racing games on the portable side. The iPad feels more at home with puzzle games. I’m really not liking the freemium stuff on iOS.
