Im two hours into my play through of Metal Gear and I've made it to the second Boss Fight.

Metal Gear was first released in Japan for the MSX2 Home computer in 1987!

I never realized how much the Metal Gear Solid games were so influenced by the first two Metal Gear games. After playing Metal Gear MSX port it was uncanny how many items and gameplay was carried over to the MG Solid series.

2016 wasn't a very active year for me in a sense that I didn't actually finish very many video games. I bought quite a few but only played through a small handfull and even those were older ones I was replaying.

Hello Pixlbit. Christmas has come and gone and most everyone is back at work. Except me! I'm on vacation until next tuesday. I only had to use 3 vacation days to get 11 days off. At work we get Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Years eve and New Years day, plus the weekends in between. So Im happy!

In 1998 at the youthful age of 40 I was working the second shift at my place of employment (I'm still there!) My shift ended at 3:30 am. After driving home and showering and eating supper I would lay on the couch and watch infomercials. One day at walmart I saw an N-64 demo console with a playable demo of a Zelda game. I thought, this would be something I could do at 4:30 am while my family was still asleep. After reading up on video game consoles I decided to buy the N-64.
