Usually at the end of the summer, I’ll have watched enough movies to write a blog about them.  And sometimes, that happens in the winter, too.  This is one of those winters!  So here’s a blog about the movies I’ve seen in the past couple of months.  There might be some slight spoilers here and there.  Nothing too significant, but you’ve been warned anyway.

In the second part of my look at the characters in Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite, we’ll go over the fighters on the Capcom side.  I’m way more into video games (obviously, since I review them) than I am comic books, so hopefully I’ll sound a bit more knowledgeable here.  So let’s dive right in.  Oh yeah, some slight Story Mode spoilers here and there may happen, so you’ve been warned.

Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite is a fighting game featuring characters from Marvel comic and Capcom game universes.  Usually when I play a fighting game that has a lot of interesting characters in it, I’ll write a blog about them, so that’s what we’re going to do here.  We’ll start with the Marvel cast.  Keep in mind that I’m not a big comic book fan, so most of my knowledge of Marvel characters comes from the movies, Marvel vs. Capcom games, and the LEGO games.  So when I go over these characters, if you ARE a Marvel fan, please feel free to correct me on anything or provide any information or insight that you might like to share.

Last year, Nintendo released the NES Classic Edition, a smaller sized 8-bit NES shaped console with 30 classic games.  It’s been notoriously hard to find, and I’ve been a bit bummed that I haven’t been able to get one.  But I wasn’t TOO upset because most of the games I played on the NES were from Capcom, not Nintendo (Mega Man and Disney games).  But the 16-bit Super Nintendo is my all-time favorite console ever.  It was the gaming console that really cemented my preference for console games, and the system just clicked for me for some reason.  So when Nintendo released the SNES Classic Edition in the same vein this year, I REALLY wanted to get it.  Luckily, my family got it for me for my birthday!  Nintendo DID say they were making more of the SNES Classic Edition, and I don’t know if that’s really true or not, or if we were just more prepared this time.  But not only was I able to get one, but three of my brothers got one, too!  So to celebrate me getting a SNES Classic Edition, here’s a blog about all the games on it!

As much as I like Nintendo, they have made quite a few mistakes as a game company.  Some are big, like the Virtual Boy and using cartridges on the N64.  And some are not quite so big.  One of those ‘not quite so big’ mistakes I feel is how they released the NES Classic Edition last year.  For those who don’t know, the NES Classic Edition was a smaller console that looked like the 8-bit NES and had 30 games on it.  But Nintendo didn’t make enough and it’s very hard to find.  Even I don’t have one!  I know Nintendo recently said they would make more and release them next summer, but we’ll just have to see about that.  So when I saw where I could order the Famicom Classic Edition online for nearly retail price, I decided to import that instead.  The Famicom was the Japanese version of the NES.  Their Classic Edition has most of the same games as the NES one, but with a few changes here and there.  So in this blog, I’m going go over the Famicom Classic console, the games on it, and at the end I’ll share some good news related to this topic!

Hey folks, sorry that it’s been around two and a half weeks since I posted a blog, but I’m even more sorry that I’ve done two game review list blogs right in a row.  I know that these kinds of blogs can be seen as shameless plugs and that might annoy some of you.  But I really only do these kinds of blogs to share with you what games I’ve been reviewing lately, and post thoughts and background that you might not find in the actual review.  But I also kind of like to alternate so I don’t have too many of these blogs right in a row.  I do have a few blogs like this planned, like a review of the Famicom Classic Edition, characters in Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite (just got that game today), and more.  But the past two weeks I was just too busy to work on them.  I wasn’t really OVERWHELMINGLY busy or anything, but just busy enough that working on those blogs would’ve been more stressful than fun.  And since I don’t get paid to do these blogs, I only do them if they’re fun.  So hopefully I’ll have some more different stuff up soon.  Anyway, here’s another list of games I’ve been reviewing lately at GamerDad.com.  Please click on the links and read as many as you can, and maybe even post a like or comment or two.  I’d appreciate it!  Thanks!
