Those of you who know me or are familiar with my blogs and articles know that I love Kirby games.  It’s probably my favorite Nintendo franchise.  I like Kirby games better than Metroid, better than Zelda, heck, even more than Mario games!  So in honor of the release of Kirby Triple Deluxe on the 3DS, here’s a Kirby blog to celebrate!  In this one, we’ll look at five Kirby games that I think they should make next!

Usually during the winter and spring months at the beginning of the year, I don’t see very many movies in theaters.  The majority of the movies I see are during the summer months when all the mindless blockbusters come out.  At the end of the summer, I usually write a round-up blog about the flicks I saw during those months.  But this year, I actually saw enough movies during the winter and spring seasons that I can write a blog about them now!  So here’s a blog about the films I saw BEFORE the summer movie blast that’ll hit us in a few weeks.  Oh yeah, just a word of warning.  I’m going to try and keep this blog spoiler free, but if a tiny spoiler trickles out, I’m just letting you know it might happen.

Recently I’ve been playing and working on reviewing the newest BlazBlue fighter: BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma.  Like the others in the series, it’s a 2-D, one-on-one fighter featuring hand drawn sprites and a storyline so complicated that you need a flow chart to understand it all.  The games are also made by the same folks who did the Guilty Gear series, I believe.  Anyway, normally when I play a fighting game, I like to talk about all the characters in a separate blog.  But I did that already a couple of years ago on 1up.com, and I don’t feel like doing that again.  Plus, many of the characters don’t interest me as much, as they are generic anime stereotypes, and I don’t have much to say about them.  So my blog would end up being mostly reading like, “Ragna is just some fighter looking dude.”  So instead, I decided just to talk about my top five favorite BlazBlue characters instead, because I’m lazy.  So let’s go!

Big news, everyone!  I just got a new job working for SEGA.  I’m going to be one of the heads of creative development for a new studio they’re opening up called Flicky Tails Studio.  I’ve got big plans to revive some of SEGA’s forgotten characters in great new games, so I’ll be really busy and you may not hear much from me here anymore.  But before I go for good, I thought I’d give you guys a sneak peek of what I’ll be working on over the next couple of years.

In honor of the release of Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze for Wii U at the end of this week, I thought I’d write a blog about my top five favorite Donkey Kong games.  How high can you get?  It’s on like Don…er, a stubborn monkey!
