The title of this really intrigues me since a paladin is basically the opposite of a dark knight (see: FFIV lol). Does that play into the story? Also, cool art!

Welcome back! I haven't done a lot in the blogging in the six months myself, though I have kept up with my monthly recaps. Been playing a lot of different things but been very consistent on Destiny. The Taken King expansion is excellent, especially if you have some people you know to play with regularly.
The post-Symphony of the Night Castlevanias are my favorite too (I've played them all) but I do enjoy the older ones too. Dawn of Sorrow is excellent though
We were seriously considering getting an Xbox One for Halo 5...but then we found out there is no local multiplayer in the game, a first ever in the Halo series. Our plans to get one are now on indefinite hold. I'm really mad at 343 though. They said it was because the game couldn't maintain 60fps with two people playing. But I don't care! That's how I like to play those games! And now they've lost a happy customer. -end rant-
Ahem, anyway, we might still get one if they patch the local multiplayer in (there's quite a stink online about it), so we'll see. Otherwise the PS4 should keep me plenty busy. But I hope you enjoy it! (Didn't mean to rain on your parade there. Sorry.) That Rare collection is certainly a treasure trove by itself.
I've always heard good things about Dark Cloud 2, and that box looks like it's in excellent condition
I love the idea but the various implementations have never got me very excited. I'm also a cheapskate, so I'm very hesitant to get into something that could cost so much. I do have Samus and Mega Man amiibos though. I enjoy having them just as little statues lol.
Harmony of Despair is where they took all the 2D assets from the previous 10 years of Castlevanias and made a big co-op action game out of them. Up to six people can play simultaneously, though I think my little group is going to max out at three and at this point that is probably pretty good lol. The last classic-style Castlevania was The Adventure ReBirth on WiiWare back in 2009. It was pretty good too (as was its Contra counterpart). Too bad Konami isn't interested in making cool games anymore
Yeah, I have a great collection of indie games now thanks to PS+. Snapping up everything is a good idea, I think. I hope you can play them at some point!
Multiplayer Zelda has been nothing but gold so far
I'm having trouble fitting it into my schedule—as you can see, I have a lot of games going right now—but I've really enjoyed it so far. Hoping to play more soon.
There's no time like the present! (Like I'm one to talk )
Egads, Rangergirl, you haven't tried a Castlevania game?!? I would suggest starting with Symphony of the Night (which is on a gob of different platforms at this point) or Dawn of Sorrow on the DS. Those are both of the Metroidvania style and are quite good Pretty much any Kirby game is good fun lol.
As for TriForce Heroes, do not wait to jump on that if you can get two other people in the same room with you to play it. The online stuff works very well (never had to wait more than a few seconds to get paired up) but you can't beat that couch co-op communication.
