Check your local library! You'd probably be surprised at how many comics and graphic novels they have. You might not find the lesser known or more offbeat books but you should be able to find all the famous ones at least. (If you can't find something, check the library's website since a different branch might have it.) I've read hundreds of dollars'-worth of graphic novels in the last couple years and paid maybe $10 in late fees in all that time. Unless you really want to own them, I'd say that's the way to go.

If you ever want to get the PS3 and Vita games—you know, just in case—you can purchase all of them on the PlayStation Store website. That's what I do. But anyway, I definitely want to give Rocket League a go. Looks like fun!

After being "that guy with just a GameCube" for so long, it's weird to think of you as being part of the current generation lol.

It has been out for a long time lol. I wish I'd been into comics when I was younger but at least I get to read them now.

My brother played Wild Arms back in the day and the main thing I remember was that when you turn around your little characters actually spin around instead of instantaneously facing the other way. Realism! That and the wild west-esque setting. AND the amazing opening song, 'natch.

It will be interesting to see what you play. There are a lot of superhero from back in the day but not that many good ones. I don't think there's a good 2D Spider-Man game, personally. And just DC/Marvel? No Nightshade then, I guess 

I played Kirby's Adventure last for the first time since it came out on the NES. Still holds up. It's really the game that Kirby franchise into its own. And so pretty for an NES game!

I'd love to play the two Shadowrun games from back then (the SNES and Genesis games are completely different...which I'm sure you already knew) but yeah, they're both pretty expensive on the secondhand market  I picked up Shadowrun Returns a couple months ago but still haven't started that yet, so that would come first at least.

Dang it, I still need to play Doom.

You, sir, are the king of themed blogs  I'm continually impressed with how far you follow through with these things. Lately I haven't been able to do much at all past my monthly recaps lol.

The way co-op is set up in Dungeon Siege III is dumb but actually playing it co-op is a lot of fun. My wife and I played through that four or five years ago. We keep hoping that Obsidian will get a chance to return to the series.
