That sounds like a pretty great weekend! My wife played Sleeping Dogs when it first came out and it's one of the few open world games that has really intrigued me. No, I haven't played it yet but I plan to and that an improvement lol. I've hardly played any games recently, what with the new baby and all. We did get in a little LEGO Marvel Super Heroes tonight, which is good mindless fun. I've been reading a lot of comic books lately because they're so easy to pick up and put down and they library has a pretty good selection. Like everybody says, Sandman by Neil Gaiman is really good.
I was always interested in this game but was turned off by the steep price (no way am I paying $20 for a digital-only game). It was recently ported to iOS and I thought that this would be my chance. Things are almost always cheaper on mobile, after all. NOPE! It's $22 for that version of the game. That's just nuts! Maybe it'll be a PS+ game one day *fingers crossed*
I'm willing to give the next Batwoman book a chance because it's free (yay, library!) but I'd drop it if buying was my only option. I definitely recommend Batgirl though. Simone doesn't a great job with her character. As far as I know there isn't a Catgirl, though that sounds like a serious missed opportunity. Just as long as they never make a Catboy
I didn't know there even was a Batwoman until recently. She actually doesn't work with Batman, so I'm not sure why she picked that name.
Sandman is really good. There was a very unexpected development right in the first story; I can't wait to see where it goes next. Mega Man is also great, of course, and I know that the same guy writes the Sonic comics (hence the crossovers), so I'd like to read those too.
You gotta watch Dr. Who. So good! Just start it on Netflix. That's a good place to begin.
I've only read Batman-related stuff, so I can't speak to the New 52 as a whole and I'm fairly new to comics in general, for that matter. But I've enjoyed what I've read so far. The main Batman run has been good (I've read the first two volumes) as well as Batgirl, like I said. I'm hoping to read Nightwing, whenever it shows up at the library again, but based on the Night of the Owls collection I'll be skipping Batwing, Batman Inc, and Birds of Prey. I'm going to give Batwoman another chance because the story was intersting but man, she's a butt munch.
I haven't played it yet lol but I had to snatch it up for that price. Looking forward to trying it!
I wouldn't even know about half of these obscure JRPGs on PS3 if not for you lol. But I've never been into realistic racing games, so I would not have gone with F1
Did you see on my backloggery that I found a copy of Operation Darkness? Complete for $7. Not bad at all
Thanks, man!
I had been under the impression that the New 52 was a reboot of all of DC's various comic lines but that's obviously not the case, at least not for Batman. This Batgirl run happens after her time as Oracle. Some radical new neurological surgery has given Barbara Gordon use of her legs again. There were several flashbacks to The Killing Joke (when Joker shot her and she became paralyzed; I've actually read that one, thank goodness) and she even freezes up a couple times like she has PTSD. She's an interesting character.
