God Loves was a self-contained story, so thankfully there wasn't any catching up to do and the cast was pretty small (especially by X-Men standards, I assume). What got me was characters describing what they were doing while doing it. Kitty was probably the worst. "I phased through the wall to get away!" "Good thing I phased through the bullets so I didn't get shot!" Those aren't actual quotes but that's what it was like. I knew about her powers even from just reading the story up to that point. It was like listening to a radio drama sometimes lol. And like I said, it didn't ruin the story at all. Just seemed unnecessary. There are plenty more Claremont books I hope to read.

I'm very curious to find out how they adapted it at all. While reading I kept thinking what a difficult job those filmmakers had.

I finished We3 today. You're totally right: Sad but touching. Good story. I haven't heard of Miracle Man. But how on earth do copyright issues keep an author's name off his own work? That just sounds bizarre.

Viewtiful Joe, what a great game. Haven't played that in years. I hope Kamiya, Joe's director, returns to 2D action games sometime. He's making Bayonetta 2 right now and Capcom owns the Viewtiful Joe franchise, so we won't see an actual third Joe, but I'd take whatever he dreams up. Hope you have fun with the game! And if you want more once you finish it, the second one is just as good.

I think del Torro might be the single best person to give us a new Silent Hill story but will the gameplay hold up? That has always been the series' Achilles heel (combat especially). I'm definitely gonna keep an eye on that one.

If you have them all and want to play from worst to best, I'd suggest starting with Super Paper Mario, then Sticker Star, then the original N64 game, and finally The Thousand Year Door on GameCube 

Glad you liked Twilight Princess. I certainly enjoyed when I played it. It's definitely right in the vein of Ocarina of Time. And memory can be such a funny thing. As Sturgeon's Law would state, 90% of the music from any decade is crap. Probably a good thing we don't remember it.

Wow, this is a packed blog! Paper Mario: Sticker Star has some real problems, but I played it earlier this year and came to enjoy it for what it is. $10 is a good price on that, especially if it came with the box. BloodRayne: Betrayal is haaaard but fun and very stylish. And I love crazed '80s style of DD Neon 

I'll see Guardians of the Galaxy eventually. Everyone seems to like it though.
