I tried the first Epic Mickey and had enough, though I recently picked up the 3DS game because it was super cheap.

I tried out Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain on the PS1 several years ago and found it kind of slow, particularly because of the load times between screens. That and I heard it is famously long, like over 100 hours I have Soul Reaver 1 and 2 for the PS1 and 2, though, and will play them eventually lol.
I've done better than that on finishing games this year but March was slow. Only one down. And I want to get FF X/X-2 for the Vita but after that podcast I'd settle for most any Final Fantasy (and I'm already sitting on a couple). Still, I'm trying real hard not to start more games without finishing what I have going.
I watched Frozen last week and really enjoyed it. I wish the beginning wasn't so sad but it doesn't pull down the movie.
Yeah, Mario Land eventually turned into Wario Land. An interesting evolution of gameplay if ever there was one.
I'd like to see that!
I love that Game Boy sound
I recently got the PSP version and I'm looking forward to playing it but man, I know it will be a big time investment lol
Those seem like valid reasons. I can accept ATB being a time waster (there are plenty of great time wasters on the App Store, like you said). It originally cost $4 for the base game but now it's free. The thing that would irk me the most is the character lottery. If I'm paying for a character, I'd like to pick him/her, not get a random selection from 30+ peeps. What if it costs $30 to get Terra? O_O
Anyway, glad you liked it. It definitely has great pixel art if nothing else.
Finally done! That was indeed a great episode. Other than taking several days to listen to it, I didn't really notice the time go by. I definitely want to get back into the series and play the entries I've missed over the years, which is quite a few. My knowledge far exceeds my experience, but you guys reminded me how enjoyable these games are. On a side note, I'm interested to hear your defense of All the Bravest, Julian, because I've heard only bad things. And it sounds offensively bad, so I'm surprised you like it.
If you decide to do any more podcasts dedicated to a single franchise, I would suggest Castlevania. With the future of Lords of Shadow in question (seen a lot of middling reviews of LoS2, though I haven't heard any sales figures yet) and the recent departure of Koji Igarashi from Konami, now is probably a good time to look back at the series. Hopefully there is more Castlevania coming but who knows.
