Didn't Microsoft pay Japanese companies to make games for the 360?  I think that's why that console had more variety of games.  Even though it seems like I'm hugely loyal to Nintendo, I just go to where the fun games that I like are.  Usually that is Nintendo, but sometimes it's Sony, or Microsoft, or even SNK's consoles.

It's hard for me to get into Kickstarters because I don't like paying for something that i don't know what it is.  Plus I can barely afford to get all the games I want that aren't Kickstarters!  And most are disappointing to me anyway.  I think the only two Kickstarter games I was really impressed with was Shovel Knight and one of the Shantae games.

I never got a Xbox console after the 360.  It's a shame because I really liked the 360.

I never could get into Kickstarters.

I never liked the Game Awards.  That's why I made up my own.

That's good that you drive your friend around to do things.  I can't drive either so I know how that is.

FF6 is one of my top five favorite games of all time.

Bowser's Inside Story is the best of the Mario & Luigi games.

Metroid Prime 3 is good.  Thankfully it's not as hard as 2 was.

I'd like to go to more local ones but I don't know which ones are in my area. Plus I usually have to work on weekends and price and transportation are issues too.

If it weren't for my nostalgia for Mario 64, I'd say Mario Galaxy is the best 3D Mario game out there.

I only got Orange Box once the price went down to 20 bucks so I could play Portal.

I didn't get into Rock Band until I had the opportunity to review LEGO Rock Band. Looking back it was such a fad but at the time it seemed like a mainstay.

Chrono Trigger is one of the best RPGs ever made.

PAX is still around. I just haven't been in a while because it's been a lot smaller since COVID and now I have to watch my money more since my living expenses are different now.

Okami was my GOTY for 06.

Metroid Prime 2 is great but it sure is hard.  One of the few Metroid games I can't beat.

The Ratchet and Clank PS2 games are some of the best 3D platforming of that generation.

Metroid Zero Mission is a fine remake, even if I didn't like the little stealth section they added at the end.

Best part of Psychonauts was the humor.  That's why I stopped playing the sequel because we live in a world now where everyone is afraid to offend anyone so humor suffers because of it.  Psychonauts 2 was missing a lot of humor.

I'm still currently enjoyed the Thousand Year Door remake.  

Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando improved so much from the first game that it was pretty amazing.  And Up Your Arsenal took those improvements and refined them.  Really great trilogy of games.  No disrespect to Mega Man Legends, but Ratchet and Clank is what a 3D Mega Man game should've been.
