Sometimes 3D don't hold up well, even some games from this generation, but Trine has a great storybook quality that still looks good. Also, good music

You should play Bionic Commando Rearmed 2. They added the ability to jump in that one.
I played—and beat—the 2008 remake, Bionic Commando Rearmed. I liked it a lot and apparently it's quite faithful to the original, but the 360 D-pad made it much more difficult than it needed to be. I'd like to try the original sometime though.
The rights and royalties would probably be too confusing to work through. I mean, that's a lot of people and properties to keep straight!
They're good games. I just got the second one thanks to Humble Bundle 9. And the guy that wrote the second track has done quite a few indie games. He wrote the music for Angry Birds!
Trine is definitely overshadowed by its sequel, which I think is more a testament to the quality of the second game than a knock to the first. I have both thanks to a couple Humble Bundles and tried out the first one quite a few months ago. I didn't have a two button mouse at the time and the track pad on my Mac laptop made it kind of difficult to play lol. But I liked what I did get through and hope to get back to it sometime.
Happy anniversary! Sounds like you had a good time
Hehe...you're doing a tribute to a soundtrack that's a tribute to Nintendo's history. There's probably never been so much talent on display in one game. Can you imagine how many CDs it would take to hold the entire soundtrack?
Well said! Thanks for listening
We got this not long after it came out and my wife played it till she got stuck on the puzzles. I really want to play it but there are all these other games I really want to play too lol. I'm just glad we have it. Jeremy Parish's review on 1UP sold me on it.
