I didn't get a PS2 right when it came out because it was hard to find, But around springtime of that next year, I had one. I was still reviewing games for the newspaper so I reviewed a lot of games on it, too. Definitely have a lot of good memories with the PS2.
If they had a full Phineas and Ferb level, I would've considered buying Agent P. Same goes with Wreck-It Ralph.
I don't really watch Phineas and Ferb, but I do have respect for the cartoon.
I finished Paper Jam last week, which is good because now I'm working on Project X Zone 2. Expect to see a series of blogs from me on that game soon!
There was a lot of games on that Super Famicom satellite thing that I wish would've come over here, like this Mario Excitebike game. My brother Jeff loves Excitebike. If he were around when I was a kid, he probably would've had it on the NES.
The Sorcerer Mickey does look cool. If they made Gravity Falls or Darkwing Duck figures (or anything from the Disney Afternoon era), I would get them.
I haven't played a Metal Gear games since the NES days. I liked hiding in the box. I'm not a big fan of stealth games so the new ones don't appeal to me. I think it's funny that there is a character named Quiet. That's my favorite character because I like her name. Actually my favorite character is the box.
Cammy looks really cool in SFV. That's all I have to say. I bet you can guess who my favorite character is.
Kids play so many video games now that have set rules and goals, so it's nice when they can play something that doesn't have any of that, and they are free to use their imagination and just play. So I say, let 'em play! It reminds me of when my little brothers would play City Trial in Kirby Air Ride. They would ignore the rules and just make up their own games, like hide and seek or tag. And I thought that was great!
I just recently wrote a blog about my top ten favorite Mario RPGs (there are only ten), and even though Super Mario RPG wasn't super high on my list, I still think the game is great and I played it to death back in the day. It was the seed that started it all, and it was pretty significant that Square made it.
