The only three Amiibo figures I had to import were Ness, Meta Knight, and Robin because they're SO hard to find!
Darn ol' Klaus. :) Natsume just released a 'classic style' Harvest Moon game on iOS, if you're interested.
My one big disappointment was when I pre-ordered Me and My Katamari on PSP, because GameStop said I'd get a free Katamari PSP case that looked really cool. When I went to pick up the game, they were like, "What are you talking about?" It took me a while to go to a GameStop after that. I've found that the GameStops inside malls are not as good as the ones outside in strip malls and such. Kind of weird, but that's what I've noticed anyway.
Hey we have two things in common! We both recently lost jobs, and we both like Amiibo figures! I think I have all the Amiibo figures except for the Mega Yoshi, which I've never even seen pictures of so I don't even know if it really exists. :) On Jan. 22 some new Amiibo figures are going to be released. I hope I can get them.
I went to see the new Star Wars movie with my family on opening night at a swanky theater, too! The seats reclined and had foot rests, and we got to eat Star Wars themed food off the menu. It was one of those places where they serve you food while you watch the movie. I got the "Dark Sliders."
The Star Wars movie had a lot of vehicles and characters that would make cool toys. My favorite vehicle was the thing that Rey rode in the desert that looked like a giant fudgesicle. You know what I'm talking about? I saw a toy of it at Fry's, but I didn't get it since I don't have a job right now and don't need to be spending too much money. I also didin't get the Gamera movie collection even though it was ten bucks. Willpower!
Speaking of Fry's, I went there to get old Vita games because a long time ago, Fry's used to carry lots of PSP games and other older games, so I thought they might have old Vita games, too. Well, Fry's is a shell of their former glory because they hardly had any Vita games, or older games in general. All the games on the shelves were only from the past couple of months. And they didn't have very many. In fact, they had more shelf space dedicated to Nintendo plush toys than actual Nintendo GAMES!
Anyway, I just got done writing my review of the Star Wars: The Force Awakens pinball games from Zen Pinball. If you like pinball and Star Wars, you might want to check them out!
I never get my hopes up with pre-order bonuses from GameStop. Sometimes they get them, sometimes they don't. And sometimes I get a bonus and don't even know it! I really only pre-order games so I can just pick them up at that one spot because I can't really go all over town looking for games I want.
Bowser's Inside Story is probably the best of the Mario & Luigi games. It's probably the closest thing we'll get to Bowser having his own game. It's really fun to control him, and the 2-D areas inside him are neat as well. And the game isn't too long, but not too short either.
Did you play the secret level in LEGO Batman 3? It's really funny!
I'm thinking about watching Labrynth again, too. It's still on Netflix, right? It's been a LONG time since I've seen that movie. I remember seeing it in a theater! As a kid, I wasn't really scared of the creepy puppets, but David Bowie in that movie was scary to me when I was little!
I liked how this game hearkened back to the retro RPGs I used to play, but then it got REEEEALLY hard! Bravely Defaut was a little better, but both games suffered from what keeps me from playing RPGs nowadays. They get too long and meandering.
I hope it releases for PS3 and Wii U as well, since that's what I have set up right now. :)
