What's Namco?
What's Namco?
When I was in high school, I didn't like either of them. But I might be more interested in Gilgamesh now that I know that Tower of Druaga was based on it.
When I was in high school in my English class we were studying 'tragic heroes' so we read both Gilgamesh and Beowulf.
You should try and play Yoshi's Cookie and Wario's Woods. They're some of my favorites.
So you've read Gilgamesh, huh? Have you ever played Tower of Druaga? It was a classic Namco arcade game in Japan that was VERY LOOSELY based on the ancient epic story.
The reason why Master Higgins looks like he does is because he was modelled after one of Hudson's employees at the time named Takahashi. Did you know that there was also an Adventure Island anime?
I didn't like the SNES Adventure Island game as much, and i felt it was very challenging. But I LOVED the music by Yuzo Koshiro.
I have a retro-themed blog up now as well if you 'd like to read it. Later! --Cary
Which games did you not know about? Just curious.
I wonder if I should teach a video game history class since people find my blogs educational. All right, class, for tonight's homework, write a three page paper on The Tower of Druaga and how it reflects one of the most oldest pieces of Sumerian literature titled "The Epic of Gilgamesh."
You've never played Dr. Mario?
Sorry you had to deal with that. Oh well, it's always fun to watch your kids play games they enjoy.
My blogs are educational! :)
Go Shiina does music for a lot of Namco games. His first arcade music was for Panic Park, and his first console pieces were in Klonoa 2. He's best known for doing the music for the Mr. Driller series, Tales of Legendia, and Gods Eater Burst. But he also does some songs for the Ace Combat and Tekken series.
I forgot to mention that there is a song in Kirby Triple Deluxe that has a neat piano beginning. And it's the final boss music of all things. Just do a YouTube search for Kirby: F-L-O-W-E-R.
Now go read my new blog. :)
