I recommend Shovel Knight.
I recommend Shovel Knight.
I'm not a big fan of Castlevania or Metal Gear, but I played a lot of other Konami games like the Gradius series. I'm sitll mad they bought up Hudson Soft and squelched all their properties. Hudson had a new Bonk game ready to go, and Konami could have made millions on Bomberman alone. At least Nintendo hired a lot of ex-Hudson staff before that happened. I'll miss Gradius and Parodius and we'll never see another Kid Dracula game. It's sad to see such an influential company go like this, as they did a lot of important stuff, from Frogger to DDR, and everything in between.
Pip is releasing on all platforms. That's what they told me at PAX anyway.
I know Zelda Jr. makes no sense, but neither does me marrying Zelda in the first place.
I also hate that it seems that they talk about games more than playing them. But then, I like writing about games just as much as playing them. But it seems they spend more time talking than playing.
Farmer Man Cary is a pretty cool guy. Maybe cooler than Regular Man Cary, but don't tell him that. He doesn't need a bigger head.
I got the CD soundtrack to Shovel Knight at PAX. That's how much I liked it. It's great.
Sometime in May, another game is coming out that you might want to look into if you enjoyed Shovel Knight. It is very similar: retro gameplay, made by ex-WayForward employees, music by the same guy. It's called Adventures of Pip.
That would be a bit ironic for me to be in a 3DS game since I can't see 3D effects. :)
Have you tried Link's Awakening? That's another Game Boy Zelda game and it's my favorite game in the series.
Square should've just called Bravely Default a Final Fantasy game, because that's basically what it is. Still a bit too long and meandering for me, though. I never did finish it.
I don't get into comic books, but I went to the comic book store for Free Comic Book day so my brother could get more freebies. I did buy an Uncle Scrooge comic book there, though.
I figured the Angry Nerd thing was just an act, because nobody could be that angry. But I'd rather him be honest about himself so I can take his reviews as honest opinion, too.
No, Seanbaby did not go to college with me, I just read his stuff when I was in college. I don't think Seanbaby would like me very much.
Like I said in my blog, I lack the time, materials, and knowhow to make my own YouTube videos. Growing up stinks sometimes.
