"Someday we'll be as developed as you!"
One cool thing about Wreck-It Ralph is that Disney got Buckner and Garcia to do a Wreck-It Ralph song!
They're Twinkies!
Remember that even though you're older than me, a lot of those cartoons you listed were on reruns when I was watching, so I saw them, too! Looney Tunes on Saturday mornings were always a staple. Scooby Doo was and is always popular. And I certainly remember Fat Albert. One of the only 'good' things Filmation did. And don't feel stupid about Hong Kong Phooey. That was a great show with some great voice acting. My brother Jeff loves that show and can sing the theme song! I have him classically trained in cartoons.
I was lucky because back in those days, I was an only child and got the TV to myself! I didn't get all my little brothers until I was nearly out of high school! But having the TV until 11 isn't too bad. Most of the good stuff was over by then. :)
Thanks to you and everyone for reading my blog!
I liked it when The PowerPuff Girls crashed into the Legon of Doom. :)
I remember some claymation bumpers on ABC and one had a dog and a singing fire hydrant and they'd go, "After these messages...we'll be riiiight back!"
I don't really get into comic books, so most super hero movies I see, I have no idea who the characters are. Most of my comic knowledge comes from Marvel vs. Capcom games! I wish someone would make a Sam & Max movie, then I would know the characters in that comic book film!
Yeah the 5200 had the awful controllers. But darn it, River Raid was so much better on the 5200 than the 2600.
Kids love Scooby Doo. It's still popular!
I liked Batman and Animaniacs a lot, too, but that was more of a weekday thing for me.
Inspector Gadget was a pretty big deal back then. It was super popular in Europe I hear. But that was a cartoon I remember watching more on weekdays than Saturdays.
