Yeah they should've called Bravely Default a Final Fantasy game.

I'm just happily playing Curtain Call. I don't guess they'll ever make FF games like the ones I used to play as a kid on the SNES.
That's a lot of drama. I don't really get into all that, but I do remember some poops and snobs on 1up. They should've hired me when they had the chance!
Streets of Rage music is always great, thanks to Yuzo Koshiro. FF9's music is almost as good as FF6's. Kirby 64 also had some great tunes, as do most Kirby titles in general. There's a coulple of catchy vocal tunes in Rhythm Heaven Fever on Wii. I actually really liked Mario Kart Wii as well, with Toad's Factory being one of my favorite new tracks.
Don't forget to unplug your shoes before you walk away or else TRIP!
Chrono Trigger is very good. One of the best SNES RPGs. DS port is spot on.
I don't really recall seeing Splatterhouse in arcades much, and the only other way to play it back then was via the TG-16, which I didn't have, so I didn't play it much back then. Not to mention it's not really my cup of tea anyway. On the Famicom in Japan, they made a cutesy chibi Splatterhouse game that looks neat.
I didn't like the Xbox 360 3-D Splatterhouse game much. Again, not my cup of tea and it seemed a bit juvenile anyway. One interesting thing is that Jim Cummings was the voice of the Terror Mask! I almost expected him to bust out with a "Let's Get Dangerous," or a Tigger-ish "Hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo!"
We must have really close birthdays as I just turned 38 on Monday.
Really? I saw Ikari Warriors a lot, along with its sequels Victory Road and Ikari 3.
Konami had some really rare stuff in Game Room. Most of it I had never heard of either!
I don't really remember Sky Shark, or it didn't stand out to me, but then, a lot of vertically scrolling shooters just kind of mush together for me. I do remember Ikari Warriors, though. I saw it everywhere. In the arcades, on the NES, and a neighbor friend and I played it a lot on the PC. I played it again recently and it wasn't as good as I remembered it. SNK games were very prominent where I live for some reason. The characters in Ikari Warriors are still being used today in games like Metal Slug and KOF!
