With the NES Classic, I didn't have to play through Castlevania in one sitting, and that helped a ton. I could take a breather for a couple days and come back to it without having to start over.

I hope you went to look right after you made that comment because PS+ has updated to the October games now!
I now have all the God of War games in some form or another except the newest one and I haven't played any of them But when I do (fingers crossed), I will start at the beginning. Might be a while before I get to GoW III!
The training wheels are definitely off in Hardest on EDF. I can't imagine what Inferno will be like.
I definitely buy more RPGs than I can actually play lol.
I always have a list of books/movies/games I want to get through in October, and I'm doing good if I make it through any of them!
I was very intrigued by this game once I saw video for it. I'll wait for reviews, I think (I have so many games to play!), especially since it is technically a toys-to-life game and that does not interest me at all. But hey, if you can just play through it as just a Star Fox game, I'd be down for that.
Personally, I think Nintendo's penchant for trying new ideas with Star Fox has largely been a bad thing for the series. Assault would have been great without the on-foot sections. Zero would have been great without the second screen (well...and that dumb walking tank thing). I think that fans would be more accepting of offbeat sequels like Command if they had solid traditional Star Fox games to play as well (similar to how Hal handles Kirby).
My boys play Minecraft on the Wii U all the time and I always think of you lol. I have a digital copy of Space Marine for the PS3 and I'm always meaning to play it. You're not the first person I've heard singing its praises. The 40k video games almost always seem to focus on the Space Marines but I'd love to see some love for the other races, like the Eldar, which are basically space elves.
Good luck with your Xbox 360 problem. I'm playing Alan wake on mine right now for October, first time I've used the 360 since playing F.E.A.R. last October. I find that I have nostalgic feelings for the system-level sound effects lol.
I thought I heard that Monster Hunter Stories was coming to Switch but I just checked and it must have just been a rumor. That would certainly be cool though.
I liked Ninja Gaiden as a kid (never beat it, of course) and Shadow from FFVI is cool but I'm having a hard time thinking of other ninjas I've played as. I would like to play The Messenger at some point.
I played Mario Odyssey almost exclusively on the tv but my 50+ hours (and counting) of Breath of the Wild have been almost exclusively in handheld mode. I love having that option! And getting all that Final Fantasy stuff is just awesome.
I'm surprised they're bringing this one back (what's next? The Bouncer Remastered???) but I'm all for more options and second chances. We seem to be in the kitchen sink era of gaming and that's pretty cool.
