I'm in agreement that with almost everyone else here that The Last Jedi was a good film. I haven't seen any other movies recently since Blade Runner 2049. All in all, it was a good year for blockbusters though. I will have to wait for the Oscars to see if other movies this year catch my interest.
I haven't gotten any games for Christmas almost since I started working. It's okay though, since I can afford any game I want now.
I don't get The Last Jedi hate either. We finally got something different, and it was certainly much better than the prequel movies. Even those didn't get as low as the 52% audience score Last Jedi has on rottentomatoes though.
You go into the select menu while you play the game. Save the game and you can load it exactly where you left Mega Man: mid-boss, mid-jump, you name it!
I thought this Star Wars was much better than the last one. Pretty boring for the first half, but almost amazing in the second half. I hope the next film is something completely different, the worst parts of these new movies is how much they've been copying the original trilogy.
Have you used the save states on Mega Man Legacy Collection? That pretty much takes all the frustration away.
I also hated the controls in the Last Guardian and the frustrating puzzles, but I still wound up loving upon finishing the game.

I really liked Batman and Rise of the Tomb Raider this year as well. The story was really good in Batman, though I do have to admit there was maybe a few too many quick-time events instead of actual interaction.
I knew when I saw the title of the blog it was going to be Valkyria Chronicles 4. I'm pretty excited myself.
Yeah, those Turing Test puzzles wore me out too. I had to use a guide, especially at the end of the game. The ending felt kind of rushed anyway, so you didn't miss out on much.
I've also been thinking of picking up Deadly Premonition since it went BC.
I too am a bigger fan of the Xbox brand, and as such, my Xbox One collection is far greater than my PS4 collection. But your collection dwarfes mine. I have probably less than a third the games you have.
I bought Shovel Knight for $10 before all the other versions came out. I liked it a lot until I made it to part where you fight all the bosses at once, which was a nightmare and I just couldn't beat it.
Horizon is game I've been thinking a lot to get. With Frozen Wilds out, I may just jump on it.
