I've been to a few barcades in my area.  There's a chain called Free Play which has a few locations.  My brother even had his wedding rehearsal dinner at one of them.  If I ever got married that's where I'd have the rehearsal dinner, too!  There's also one near downtown Dallas that has some good arcades called Cidercade.  There's also one near where my dad lives, but I forget the name of it.  That one had drinks named after various video game characters.  Like a couple of pink drinks named after Kirby and Princess Peach, and a yellow Pac-Man cocktail!

Recently I went to a cool arcade called Push Start Play.  Not really a barcade but they did serve pizza and drinks.  It has a lot of really cool rare stuff and I even wrote about it:

I've always thought of Psychonauts as a point and click adventure cleverly disguised as a 3D platformer.  Especially in the later stages like the Milkman stage which is just a parody of those kinds of games.  

I recommend either the first Ape Escape on the PS1, or 2 or 3 on the PS2.

Yeah watch out for Pokemon Pokopia.  It's DANGEROUSLY ADDICTIVE!  

I saw that the next Picross S game is going to be Konami Classics.

Even though I reviewed the Disney collection, I just ordered a physical copy of it from Atari.com as well.

I just visited my dad at home a couple of days ago.  You'd never know he had a stroke aside from having to use a walker for a short while.  I'm no expert, but it looks like he'll make a full recovery, or close to it.  All I can say is, stay away from those carnivore diets.  It can screw up your cholestoral levels.

I'm with you on Beyond Good and Evil.  I liked the photography, hated the stealth.  The only game I've ever played that made stealth fun was Ape Escape.

Yeah lots of cool Mario stuff, but I didn't want to buy it all.  Now if it was Kirby or Pac-Man...

Well Jeff didn't really beat the game per se.  He just got a bad troll ending.

I never had the original Xbox.

Only one of those I've played was Psychonauts, and that was on the PS2.  The first game was one of the most brilliantly humorous games I've ever played.  Too bad the sequel forgot how to be funny.
