A similar dumb joke was made in Borderlands 2, the game Mark and I played after visiting Longwood Gardens to take photos of orchids.
The SneeAtollah was getting on my but about not blogging so this is the blog I didn't write (but don't tell him)
It's the most wonderful time for more games! Sit back and enjoy todays batch of games!
But aside from the Emperor Palpatine news that enters my Facebook feed every day, it's actually a pretty relaxing day. I didn't have much as far as lectures and what I'm grading this weekend is not going to take all that much time.
Just left my job the other day, so now I'm kinda down. So I went to Mark's and played games all day. It's what I do to recharge. It didn't work much. We're going to shoot photos tomorrow 'cause it's going to be some kind of warm and sunny. - like record breaking warm. I guess that's good but I'll likely still be down. Anyway, here's the breakdown of what I played today.
You guys have probably never heard of Shaun Musgrave. Interesting fellow. He's a Canadian who lives in Japan and teaches English. So if you ever meet a Japanese kid who talks about going "oot and aboot" you'll know who talk him
Anyway, Shaun writes a lot for the iOS game site Touch Arcade, but he also has a personal site where he writes about all sorts of games. Recently he wrote about all the Sega 3D Classics games and is currently going through a bunch of Spider-Man gamess. He especially loves to talk about RPGs though. He has a very enjoyable writing style and lately I've been plowing through the stuff he's put up and having a grand old time. His site has a great name too: Post Game Content. Be sure to check it out!
Hello my friends and here we have another series of games. So sit back and enjoy!
Well the one that can be accessed before beating the game that is. The Altar of Wroth. Stumbled upon the requirements to open it by accident, then just followed the clues. The boss was a pain in the ass even at level 59. Left Angus and Red both dead and Angelo petrified so no Kazing spell to bring them back.
Back in the late Summer/early Fall, Nintendo released a new batch of 3DS StreetPass mini-games. I didn’t get them right when they came out because I didn’t have an opportunity to get out with a bunch of 3DS users to really take advantage of the StreetPass capabilities. But a couple of weeks ago I went to PAX South, so I finally had a reason to download these games and try them out. You can download the games separately, or in a bundle for less than ten bucks, so it wasn’t that bad. The games are pretty small, so I thought it would be fun to do mini-reviews of these titles over at GamerDad.com. I posted the links here along with overviews of each game if you’d like to read about them.
When it comes to reading, I’ve spent most of my time with fantasy and sci-fi. I have fond memories of The Belgariad by David Eddings, The Council Wars by John Ringo, Piers Anthony’s Xanth series, and of course stuff like the pre-Disney Star Wars novels and Harry Potter. I’ve read a lot over the years, but recently I’ve come to appreciate non-fiction.
So Amazon is normally pretty good about not cancelling preorders. However last night they started cancelling Master Editions of the new Zelda game. I read one article that said a shipment went missing but I have no clue if its reliable or not. I still have my preorder as of writing this. I did get an email saying they were limiting everyone to 1 a piece but I only had 1 ordered in the first place. The next few days shall be stressful. If they do cancel mine ill just buy the standard game and a case for the Switch but I'm hoping they dont.
Hello friends, hope you're having a great week. I skipped yesterday because I had nothing of interest to say and I'm sure no one needs to hear me babble or complain about work. This random warm weather spell that has taken over Chicago has done well for my seasonal depression and I feel more upbeat today. Too bad it's going to snow this weekend.
I realized today that I haven’t talked much about video games lately on this website about video games. I will rectify that…now!
Another day again. Another batch of games my friends!
Work was ... interesting today. Let's just say certain meetings don't need to be addressed to everyone and sometimes attacking negativity with more negativity leads to more negativity ... don't mind me, just vague Facebooking on an entertainment website. Clogging up your escape website with gossipy bullshit.
Goddammit, I'm sick of not playing enough video games! I'm downloading the original Witcher on my computer, and installing Dark Souls 3 on my PS4. IT's time to get busy with video games, man!
