Well it's the beginning of a new year and I've decided to start taking stock of what I have game wise and chronicle it here. Here's part of my physical game collection. I have a closet full of older games and systems too.
Last few years I've been keeping a spreadsheet of all the media I've experienced. I've got games, books, movies, and music recorded. Let's do games.
...So it seems just about everyone's year was a level(s) of annoying and decent..Mine got stressful toward the end and i almost wanted to hibernate through winter..(Probably also didn't help that sanity and patience was probably getting dangerously low at times...Even for me.) Though I am almost sure that 2017 is gonna be busier than ever...(Might need to try utilizing twitter's "Moments" feature thingy to orginize stuff out...Considering the general chaos of that site..)Still feel a little like resting but at least I am not as pooped as I thought I would be going into 2017...Anyhow, cheers..~ Gonna have to see about some sporadic dumping of stuff here soon...Still got some shtuff from 2016 I haven't uploaded to my dA yet too..
It’s that time of year again! It’s the Cary’s Best Games of 2016 Awards Show blog! Keep in mind that no outside opinions went into the making of this list. It’s just my own picks. And if a game is missing from my list, it either didn’t appeal to me as much, or I just simply haven’t played it yet. Can’t play all the games out there, you know! Plus I do apologize if this list leans toward the Nintendo side. I don’t have an Xbox One, and I just got a PS4 at the end of November, so you’ll just have to deal with it.
10 Years of Twilight Princess...
I'll post New Year's Resolutions tomorrow maybe, but for now I'll just do a quick update blog about what I've been playing.
So this year was rough. There was way more bad than good and some how I lived. I freaking lived, someone must love me in the spiritual world. That or I am just super lucky.
Spent it playing Diablo III: U.E.E. with Mark and seeing Assassin's Creed with my friend Sean. Details, details.
Hello Pixlbit: I want to post my New Year's Video Game Resolution today.
Good morning Pixlpeeps! So 2016 is almost over and it is time to look at 2017 and think about what we want to accomplish. There are a couple of items that I want to tackle and unlike last year when I had two separate lists, this year I've decided to go with one main list to include games and other stuff. Of course we all have the exercise and lose weight on our lists so that won't be included but other fun stuff will be. Shall we get started?
I didn't blog on Wednesday because I got a stomach virus. I was fine the next morning but that didn't get in the way of gaming both Wed and Thurs. Here's the breakdown:
About a half an hour ago. 155 hours and there was more left to do. Great game from beginning to end.
2016 wasn't a very active year for me in a sense that I didn't actually finish very many video games. I bought quite a few but only played through a small handfull and even those were older ones I was replaying.
I know I haven’t posted anything in a long time but this is the only place I can think of to vent at the moment. If people that follow my Twitter and Facebook accounts are actually reading this then just be keep in mind that while I believe these problems are benign compared to a number of other concerns for others around me or in the world it’s still aggravating as hell. Also, I’m not asking for pity. Nor am I asking for someone to tell me it’ll be okay because God knows when that’s something I wanted for some time I now acknowledge the fact these problems only occur because I let them and it’s somewhat my fault that I let them happen to me.
Well Pixlbitallion, Christmas has come and gone and soon the blighted year that was 2016 will be no more.
Good morning Pixlpeeps! I hope your holiday weekend went well. My holiday weekend is still going so I'm going to make this entry quick but I did want to share what games I have been playing. Sound good? Cool let's get started.
Final Fantasy 15 is most definitley here but my timeliness could not be more off.
As of Tuesday, first day of my staycation, I've played quite a lot of Diablo III: U.E.E. with Mark; bought Star Wars Battlefront, Mad Max and the most recent Skylanders Adventure pack; and almost finished Skylanders Academy season one. Details below.
I thought I'd take a break from all the Christmas stuff to post some game videos.
Hello Pixlbit. Christmas has come and gone and most everyone is back at work. Except me! I'm on vacation until next tuesday. I only had to use 3 vacation days to get 11 days off. At work we get Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Years eve and New Years day, plus the weekends in between. So Im happy!
So I'm no stranger to exercise, but I got the idea to try something a bit different. I'm calling it the Big Boss Workout. Inspired by Venomous Punished Snake in MGSV. He is one of the most dynamic characters you can control in a video game yet. A sneaking, sprinting, climbing, crawling, shooting, dive rolling, CQCing badass. I already do a weights workout, but I want to tailor that to help give me functional strength that would benefit me on the battlefield of life. I know I'll have to really upgrade my cardio, Snake can haul ass in the game. Also work on pullups and other climbing-beneficial exercises. Maybe train martial arts? (with throws, joint locks, boxing and whatever else he does in the game). Looking for suggestions, so any of you were in the military, sports, have experience in rock climbing, martial arts, etc. feel free to advise me. So far I have this:
Full disclosure, I only played six games that came out in 2016, so this isn't really a "Top 6" list. Anyway, here's how I rank the games I played this year:
Didn't actually game at all myself, but I watched my neice and nephew do so.
