So Mothman asked me to cover a bunch of Double Fine games. So, why not? I already covered Grim Fandango in a review (spoiler alert, it was awesome), but the rest I haven't covered as much. The one I won't put on here, however, is Psychonauts. That deserves its own blog. Maybe even two. The rest, however, go here.
I was planning to make a First Impressions blog, but I kinda lost my energy few moments ago after expending 1 hour and 30 minutes starting and playing Devil Survivor Overclocked and another one catching up on this site, coupled with the fact that I need to heat my dinner and advance in an university text.
I was told today some really bad news about someone in my family that has just left me numb to say the least. I'm not in the real mood to write something for BaD and I'm debating whether or not to finish it this year. I'm sorry but I'm just so distressed right now I don't know what to do. If you have the time please keep my family in your prayers. Thank you and I'm sorry...
I've installed Windows 10 as a virtual machine on my Windows 8.1 laptop because I'm curious to see what they've done.
I'm even seriously considering it. Has to be ordered through Amazon though.
Well Happy Wednesday Pixlbit Nation! I still don’t get why it is warm (80 degrees and sunny) but I would have liked a couple of weeks of winter like weather but hey it is what it is. Anyways for today I’d like to focus on a system that many people adored, but I stayed away from until the release of the next generation version, and that is the X-Box. The X-Box was a hell of a machine, but I found a nice home in the Playstation Camp. I understood what the X-Box offered but at the same time I had a sizeable PS2 library and I didn’t want to make that financial investment in another console. I actually waited a bit until the release of the 360 and a used X-Box was going for around $100. One day I decided it was worth a try to pick up a console, and it was probably around the time of the Buy 2 Get 1 Free deals at GameStop so I stocked up on titles that were exclusive to the console…and maybe a cheap copies of games I owned on the PS2.
Why do I feel the need to go out and drink after a long day, when I know I'll just wake up not feeling the best? Oh well, I'll nap when I get off work and do my exercises. Aside from the chicken I'm thawing, might just not eat today. Damn BFTs from Taco Bueno.
He said he was coming back for BaD but never showed. I was thinking yesterday about community members who aren't around much any more. We don't see Ben, or GrayHaired or Larry much to name a few.
Actually to be more accurate he is a hateful, racist punk. And JayZ and Kim K might should be a little curious about Kanye's obsession with Byonce. This was less to do with "artistry" and more to do with the fact that he is a talentless hack who has to act an ass to keep people interested in him. Beck is a multi-instrumentalist, song writer, composer, arranger, and producer. Byeonce is by comparrison a joke, a high school talent show act. This is why most musicians don't take the Grammy serious. Judging art in such a way really puts art on a very juvenile and comercial level. But, I suppose that is what they are trying to do. Anyway, sorry this BaD is kind of ranty but this just pissed me off. Hats off to Shirley Manson. Thanks for reading. Gemini out!
Even though tower defense games are a dime a dozen on the App Store, I haven't played very many. Kingdom Rush is one of the more well known of the genre, though, and it's easy to see why after playing some. First of all the characters are really small, so you can actually see everything that's going on (very important!). There are four main types of towers—barracks to put out troops and slow down the enemy; archer towers for long-range; artillery towers for heavy firepower; and mage towers for enemies resistant to physical damage—which can be specialized once they're upgraded enough. It provides enough variety to keep things interesting. And there are a lot of different kinds of enemies and I'm sure there are more to come. You also get a hero character that you can move around the level to help out and a couple special powers that recharge after you use them. The graphics and music fit the medieval theme perfectly.
So I know I'm late posting this. Me and Dan went to walmart and walked around for a bit. We bought a few things we were in big need for. I got a teapot and cookie sheets. We bought him and me some needed clothes. We also grabbed two things that technically we didn't need but we haven't really spent any money for us. It's all been the apartment. We grabbed the Toon Link and Bowser amiibos. Toon Link looks like he might become rare so I suggest nabbing on sight. Bowser I think will be common to find. Tomorrow is more adult things were gonna go see about starting Dan's Sam's Club membership in hopes it might save us money as well as make food last longer. I did accomplish a few things today, got both the Internet and eletric setup to be installed and turned on on March 2nd. No deposits required! Thank heavens! Anywho off to bed I go. I'm worn out yet again abs tomorrow is gonna be another long day. Hope yall had a wonderful day!
Last week I collected 9 Miis and then had a party running them through the six Mii Plaza games. Here's some of the things me and my Mii friends did.

I miss Game of Thrones on TV. I'm glad The Walking Dead is back, although I was a bit disappointed with the latest episode. I would have liked more closure after then ending of the last season, but as the show goes, death doesn't really matter and it's just shuffling along without a care. Back to Game of Thrones, the gap between seasons is way too long. I missed out on the Telltale games mostly because I prefer to play them all at once when they all come out together in a bundle. I might have to jump in early to get some Game of Thrones in my veins.
Have you played the Game of Thrones TellTale games and if not why not? If you have, how are they? Good, Bad? Meh? Let us know.

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, here is another batch of games I’ve been reviewing lately over at GamerDad.com. Please click on the links and read as many as you can, and maybe even post a comment or two. I’d really appreciate it. Also, I have pretend Valentine’s Day presents for everyone who reads this blog, too!
I dont know about any of you but Dan has been stressing over the transfer process since he not only has to transfer things from one system to another but he has to also incorporate a new MicroSd card since the 4gb included one isnt enough for all is data. Monster Hunter itself takes up like 2.7GB so here is a link to all the info that has been compiled. Now let me say he does say things might be different once the new 3ds releases on transferring but he doubts it would be that much of a difference.
It's production night at the newspaper, so I'll be busy designing my page most of the rest of today.
