I don't really have much new going on around here. The biggest thing to note is that our trip to Japan starts in a couple of weeks...
Once again, long time no see! I guess I never seem to get any blogging ideas other than the obligatory purchase blog. Oh well, enjoy the pictures and the off-the-cuff reactions if nothing else!
so, in honor of memorial day, amazon is giving away 1000 coins if you download 5 apps. A few of the apps are IHeartRadio, the Food Network's "In The Kitchen" app, and a few others that SUCK.
Well Happy Friday to you good people of Pixlbit. As I type this I am currently debating if I should catch the early showing of X-Men, or go next week when nobody will be there. Hopefully I will make a decision before I finish this latest update, which on Friday I like to call “Quick Hits With Chris”. For today’s Quick Hits I want to ramble on about a couple of subjects, hopefully there will be no spoilers, and by the time I finish writing, editing and uploading pictures, I will have a decision about whether I should go watch a movie. So let’s get this edition of Quick Hits started!
In honor of the upcoming release of Mario Kart 8, I thought I’d write a blog ranking my favorite games in the Mario Kart series. Mario Kart 8 itself isn’t on the list, since I haven’t played it yet as of this writing, but I am looking forward to it. So read on to find out which Mario Kart game took first place, and which ones ate dust!
A week ago I figured there was absolutely no hope of Harmonix's Amplitude (HD) kickstarter making it's insanely lofty goal of 775,000 dollars. As of today, approaching the last 24 hour stretch, they are within distance of actually meeting that goal.
I always check my 3DS on Tuesdays and Thursdays for price drops and this week there are 3 notable games on sale. All of which I bought for full price but that doesn't mean you can't take advantage of them if you have the hardware.
The day has finally come. No it's not the end of days and no it's not a holiday (Unless you all want to celebrate my birthday as one lol) No today is the day the Wii is finally dead. Now you may be saying, "but Jon Nintendo kicked that bucket aside when the Wii U was announced." And you would be correct. However, some games did in fact come out. Pandora's Tower made it's way stateside when the Wii U was out and that was a big deal for project rainfall fans. Granted XSeed screwed up and many people encountered game breaking bugs and glitches in the final tower, but regardless we got the game which is better than not at all.
