Since the original purpose of this blog was to write about my quest to beat every US-released NES game, I figured it might actually be good to write about that for once! On the review front, the big hold involves my need to go back and replay Castlevania III again; I made it through once and got the Sypha ending, but I don't remember enough about the specifics to intelligently comment on the gameplay. I should've written down more at the time, I suppose... although that won't be an issue for certain reviews down the line (Ivan "Ironman" Stewart's Super Off-Road, for example, is practically ready to post once I get to it on the list).
I'm on the move. Hopefully back soon. I'm using my phone to write this which I don't like doing.I'm also tired as hell. Been slugging it for 14 hours and have to get up at 6 tomorrow to finish this move.

Hello again, everyone. My Summer semester is finally over, so no more getting home at 10:30 p.m. and waking up at 5:45 a.m. Yes, for the past four weeks, my work day has been that long. But it's over now, and I hope I have more time to post some of my reviews/thoughts. No pictures this time, so it might be a slog. When I have more time, I'll work on some more complete blog posts. And yes i know theres no sure proof way of doing this but after reading a reveiw by Julian Titus and then reading this clown go off on his reveiw made me so angry and by the way Julian handled it very profesional and better then i would have, you know i feel like all of you are family i converse with most of you on a daily basis and Nick Julian and all the staff has a great site here and to see some one come on here and attack Julian like this idiot who had to be anonymous and couldnt even reveal who he was is a coward and knows nothing about game reveiws apparently this clown didnt like Julians reveiw of Thoughs among us which he gave an honest 4 out of 5 and actually did a great reveiw and so being tastful and criticising his reveiw he lashed iut calling him incompetent and just being a jack ass and this made me mad and i know i should be the better man like Julian handled it but this clown was out of line and should be banned from the internet period, but i guess with any site were subject to attacks by trolls who have no life and just want to create drama but this pissed me off and i just had to vent to you all. Cause i dont like people jumping in any of yall let along the staff who makes this site awesome.
Recently I got Game & Wario for Wii U. It’s in the WarioWare series of titles, but they probably didn’t use the name because the games are a bit different this time around. More like longer mini-games instead of the two second microgames of the past. They spoof Game & Watch with the title, and the start screen for each game feature cheesy ‘box art’ for every mini-game. So as I always like to do with these kinds of things, here’s a rundown of the mini-games you can play in Game & Wario.
So as most of ya'll know, I played the beta for the new FF MMO game and I enjoyed it enough to throw out my patience and buy it for the PS3 and then Ill switch to the PS4 verison once it releases. I actually felt like I was playing a Final Fantasy game again. Which is kind of sad in some ways that it took a MMO to do the trick. Those that have seen me speak of FF13 know I do not speak ighly or good of it. I played like 30 mins of it and gave my sister the controller because the game was complete trash to me in those first moments of it. Final Fantasy hasnt been itself for years. While I do like FF10 and 12 they werent up to the same standards as the previous games. I lost a lot of faith with FF13 and some of it has been regained with FF14. If FF15 is as good as it looks so far I might just gain more faith back in Square.

While I'm fighting off allergies on an otherwise nice Sunday afternoon, I'm attempting Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode on Borderlands 2 (Xbox 360) and I'm just getting my ass handed to me over and over. I'm not even out of the first area (Southern Shelf) and I'm trying to escort Claptrap to his ship and getting waylaid by enemies at every turn. I suppose I'll need friends or parties to progress from here on out.
How the fuck did this film get 55 on metacritic. Did these people watch the fucking film? I saw a bunch of user ratings saying "We don't like Zack Snyder, 0 out of 10," and others saying "Perry White is Black? BOYCOTT!!" Anyway, users aren't what I care about, because they were parented by the country music channel and are therefore racist, ignorant, autistic buffoons. What I care about are some of the actual critics reviews. "This film was just not fun." DID YOU SEE SUPERMAN GET PUNCHED THROUGH THREE FUCKING BUILDINGS?! Did you see the whole intro on Krypton? Did you see the shit tonne of jokes in the film? Instead of knocking a dude out, Clark impales his truck through three telegraph poles. I had a smile on my face throughout the entire film. It's not the film's fault you're an insufferable twat. "There was no emotion in the film." What? When young Clark was freaking the fuck out because he could see his teacher's muscles and bones and hid in a closet. The many conversations with both of his fathers spring to mind. THAT FUCKING ENDING!!! No emotion? Do you have aspergers you backwards cunt? Because not being able to perceive emotions is the only way you could come to that conclusion.
The next generation is exciting for new franchises but is also great to see the potential of what old franchises can do and how great they will look like by exploiting the new hardware. My list is a bit personal. I am sure to be more mainstream, Syphon Filter and Dark Souls by some might be replaced by Grand Theft Auto, Portal, or perhaps other peoples' own personal choices. We know we are getting a new Mirror's Edge now, Dragon Age is confirmed, and we know Mass Effect will be starting a new trilogy on next gen systems. My list is what hasn't been announced in any form yet.
So for the last 4 to 6 weeks i have been playing two games and the first a google play game which i swore i wouldnt get wrapped up in and then my wife of all people ( and keep in mind she doesnt play games well except for this ) got me to play this and its my new portable addiction....
