I've never done a blog about an iOS game before. What is there to blog about? Angry Birds? Doodle Bowl? Think we all know what they are about. Fairly simple and fun ways to pass the time on your iPad or phone. But lately I've discovered some good lengthy games to play on iOS. Hollywood Monsters is one of them. It's a port of a PC game from Pendulo Studios. When they made the iOS version they changed the two main characters. They became Liz and Dan,who are both reporters.
This is it! The last episode until the next season starts (hopefully in a few weeks), and boy is it a doozy - Milon's Gaping Asshole Secret Castle. The notoriously difficult and convoluted Hudson game featuring a little elf-like douche-waffle named Milon who shoots bubbles at an odd angle, has terrible inertia, and has to battle his way through hordes of goofy enemies in a castle filled with more trap doors and secret walls than even Dracula could come up with for even the most obnoxious Castlevania. Yet still, we actually kind of enjoy this game.
Things are picking up a little bit for yours truly, and as the semester winds down I'm looking forward to the opportunity to write more pieces for the site and perhaps for other outlets, as well (if that's possible).
I've been seeing quite a few blogs and web site stories and previews on the upcoming Metal Gear Solid 5.
Another month down! Finally finished a couple of long-running games and moving on to new things.
I've been doing a lot of thinking lately I really don't know where I'm heading with my life right now being honest, I've spent most of the good years of my life chasing after different women, and for the most part the only thing I've gotten from that is a whole lot of heartbreak, and sadness. Sometimes I question whether or not I should have stayed a shut-in the way I was before. While I'd say my life is better now it's harder as it is.
I don't really think too much about April Fools Day any more. In many recent years, it's come and gone without me even realizing it. I suppose that's a good thing, as though I miss out on the "fun," I also miss the annoyance. And hell, Adult Swim playing a hilariously censored version of The Room isn't much of a trick, since after we both watched the Nostalgia Critic review of it I showed him, my friend Austin actually asked me to watch it with him on April Fool's Day; and it wasn't a trick, it was just as gloriously bad as I thought it would be, which made it great. Still, there's a certain something I miss about being so duped I had to slow clap for a job well done. From my memory, there's only two times this happened, and they were the doing of Electronic Gaming Monthly.
Well it's been awhile since I've blogged here so I think today is finally the day I share what's up. I came to the realization that I'm almost 23 and my life is still going nowhere and I have yet to think of a goal to set for myself. My social life is also quite sad/non-existent. To remedy this I have decided to quit gaming and completely sell my collection. I finally realized what a waste of time video games are. And also so unlady-like! Yuck.
In today's blog, The Original Ser finally posts again.
Hey, hey, hey! While I'm quite busy writing up my Wii U worries and top 5 list of cancelled Wii games I figured I'd post something. So what better than an old 1up blog? Well a new blog would be nice, but unfortunately the one thing keeping me from posting it is a game I believe won't come at all, but still has a small sliver of hope to do so. Anyways a ways while back there was some fan debate about whether or not Skyward Sword was worth the grand expectations put upon itself for the 25th anniversary of the Zelda franchise. Needless to say while critic reception has been favorable (mostly high ranking scores of 5 stars, 10/10, 90% or more reception, etc.) some fans were less favorable. Of course this sparked a debate on 1up so I put up a objective analysis of the game as best I could...so without further ado...enjoy!
Guess what, everybody? I’ve got some big news for you all! I’ve just been hired by Capcom to lead a new R&D game development studio here in the US! I’m calling it Bulldozer Entertainment and we’ll be creating and developing new game ideas using Capcom’s vast properties and licenses. Needless to say, I’ll be very busy and you probably won’t hear much from me here anymore. But before I go, I thought I’d share with you all some of the things I’ll be working on in the coming months.
Well... there was a nice witty retort here, but since PIXLBIT ARE INEPT FUCKHEADS WHO DELETE MY STUFF I guess I'll start over. Ok, they're not inept fuckheads, and it was probably my fault, but I am a gamer, so naturally I can't take the fucking blame for anything.
Not that I'm broke right now or anything, but I am trying to save for a trip to somewhere (not sure where yet) this summer and I also have got to pay my taxes. This time of the year is good for me, we have a lot of festivals happening (French Quarter Fest, Creole Tomato Fest, Jazz Fest, ect.) so I'm getting a lot of hours and sales are kicking ass, so I got some money to burn. So I went to Gamestop with the possible purchase of Bioshock Infinate on my mind. Instead of dropping $60 on Bioshock, I spent 25 and left with a brand spankin new copy of Nier, and a used copy of 3-Dot Heroes, and a copy of Dragon Quest Rocket Slime.
Happy Easter Everybody!!!! This Easter I am at college and was not able to go home, so that has left with a lot of time to game today. Also, I have been absent from the site for a while. Still reading blogs but not really able to write or comment because the track season just started.
I jsut wanted to say Happy Easter to all my Pixlbit buddies, ya'll are my gaming friends and its awesome to have that since I really did have many growing up. I now can come on here and chat and blog about games with people who understand and dont give me a "WTF" look. Again Thank You all for your awesomeness, comments, and kickass blogs yall write.
Well I right now have 12.80 on my PSN account to spend on PSN games. I rarely keep up with new PSN games because Im mostly keeping up with disc based ones. So Im needing a little help with what I should buy with the remaining bit.

Happy Easter everyone! Hope it's a wonderful day today where you are. I'm not the most church going fellow. In fact I don't go at all. Don't agree with the agenda and dogma of most local churches. But I am Christian and this day is special to me. But even for folks of different faiths it should be a day of fun. We are having gorgeous weather today and people are out having egg hunts and doing outdoor stuff. It's a good day for a bike ride or a hike I'd say.
It's Easter! And while that actually means very little to me in a religious sense, it does mean that I have a day off alone at home while my girlfriend is at work, so I will be taking this time to update my game collection here. I want to try to get through all of my retro games today. (Not true, I'd like to get through everything today, but I don't have high hopes for that.)
