It’s that time again.  What I like to do this time of year is write about the best games of the year.  Keep in mind that no outside opinions went into the making of this list.  It’s just my own picks.  And if a game is missing from my list, it either didn’t appeal to me as much, or I just simply haven’t played it yet.  Can’t play all the games out there, you know!  Plus I do apologize if this list leans toward the Nintendo side.  I don’t have an Xbox One or PS4 yet, so you’ll just have to deal with it.

Toad is my favorite Mario game character.  And he’s probably one of my top five favorite Nintendo characters overall, alongside Kirby, Samus, Princess Zelda, and Captain Syrup.  So in honor of that and the new release of Captain Toad:  Treasure Tracker for Wii U, here is a top five list of my favorite Toad moments in gaming.

Last month I wrote a blog about my favorite Saturday morning cartoons.  Then I followed it up with a blog about my favorite weekday afternoon cartoons.  So now I’m going to conclude this little ‘series’ by talking about my favorite prime time TV cartoons!

A week or two ago I wrote a blog about my favorite Saturday morning cartoons.  That got me to thinking about cartoons during the week that I watched and liked, so I decided to write a blog about my favorite weekday afternoon cartoons as well.

If you don’t get the reference to my title, then you’re either too young or maybe a little too old.  Anyway, here’s another batch of games I’ve reviewed over at GamerDad.com lately.  Please click on the links and read as many as you can, and maybe even post a comment or two.  I’d appreciate it.  This batch is a little more kid-centric, but that’s what you get when you write on a site like the one I’m at!

Lately I’ve been reading things about major networks taking off their Saturday morning cartoon lineup and whatnot.  I don’t really know the details about all of it because news about Saturday morning cartoons just isn’t at the top of my radar anymore.  But it got me to thinking about my favorite Saturday morning cartoons as a kid, so I decided to list my top ten.  I think I did a blog like this before, but it’s been quite a while so I think it’s worth revisiting.

Well I was hoping my next batch of game reviews would be all scary in time for Halloween, but aside from one game, these aren’t really that scary at all.  But I guess that’s what you get for writing for a family-oriented game review blog site!  But that’s OK.  These reviews still have plenty of monsters and ghosts and kooky spooks!  I hope you all can click on the links and read as many as you can and maybe even post a comment or two.  I’d appreciate it.  Thanks!

I just got done reviewing a game called Arcana Heart 3: LOVE MAX!!!!!  It’s a 2-D fighter featuring a cast of anime-styled female characters.  A lot of times when I play a new fighting game, I like to write a blog about the characters in that game.  At first I wasn’t going to do that with this one, but once I played it, I discovered that there a quite a few neat characters in it, and I thought it would be fun to write a little blog about them after all.  Keep in mind that I may miss secret characters and leave out details here and there.  But I’m just writing this as a fun, filler blog so you’re just going to have to deal with my nonsense.  So let’s take a look at the characters in this silly fighter.
