Recently I reviewed a one-on-one 2-D fighting game called Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late. That’s a really long name!  When I first started playing it, I thought the characters weren’t that interesting, because they all looked like typical anime stereotypes.  But as I kept playing, some of the characters ended up being a little more interesting than I thought.  And since I sometimes like to write about fighting game characters in blogs, I’ll do just that with this game right now.  Plus I don’t have any other blog ideas anyway.

Thank goodness February is over.  Never liked that month.  We’ll start off the new one with another batch of game reviews I’ve recently written over at GamerDad.com.  Please click on the links and read as many as you can, and maybe even post a comment or two.  I’d appreciate it.  Thanks.

Sorry I didn’t participate in BaD this year.  With game reviews to write over at GamerDad.com, plus my regular job, one extra blog here a week is all I have time for.  But as we wrap up the BaD month, I wanted to go out with a bang with this blog.  So I hope you read and enjoy it!  It’s the 20^th Anniversary of the original PlayStation!  Well, technically 2014 was, since it was released in Japan in 1994.  BUT, I’m counting the US release, which was 20 year ago.  So in honor of that, here is a list of my favorite original PlayStation games!  Keep in mind that list this isn’t in any particular order, though.  All right, let’s begin!

A new Kirby game is being released this week: Kirby and the Rainbow Curse.  I’m always excited when a new Kirby game comes out.  I like Kirby games better than Mario titles!  And usually when a new Kirby game comes out, I like to write a blog about Kirby.  So this time I’m going to write about my LEAST favorite Kirby games.  Why so negative?  Well, Kirby and the Rainbow Curse is actually a sequel to Kirby Canvas Curse, one of the games on this list.  But don’t worry.  None of the games on my list are BAD games.  There’s no such thing as a bad Kirby game.  I just like these games less than others.  And this list isn’t in any particular order either.  So let’s roll!

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, here is another batch of games I’ve been reviewing lately over at GamerDad.com.  Please click on the links and read as many as you can, and maybe even post a comment or two.  I’d really appreciate it.  Also, I have pretend Valentine’s Day presents for everyone who reads this blog, too!

It’s kind of a tradition for me every year to write a blog roundup of my favorite Super Bowl commercials.  I think it’s interesting how us folks here in the US treat the Super Bowl like a national holiday or something.  Nothing wrong with that, I just think it’s interesting.  I have to say, though, that while most years the commercials are disappointing, this year they were especially disappointing.  A lot of the commercials were all serious and depressing.  Where’s the funny?  Normally as I watch the game, I take notes on the commercials that stood out to me.  This year I didn’t even fill up one page!  But I’m still going to write a blog about it anyway.

This past weekend I went to PAX South in San Antonio, TX.  I’ve gone to PAX in Seattle for many years, so I thought it was cool they had one near where I live (I’m north of Dallas, TX).  I wrote a couple of articles about PAX South over at GamerDad.com.  Please click on the links in this blog and read the articles if you can.  I’d appreciate it.

Recently I played and reviewed the new PS3 fighting game Guilty Gear Xrd –SIGN--. A lot of times when I play a new fighting game, I like to talk about the characters a bit.  So here’s a blog about my top ten favorite Guilty Gear characters.  Just a fair warning, though.  I was in a silly mood when I wrote this, and I usually like characters who are silly anyway so this blog will be a little goofy.  Plus I don’t have a whole lot of knowledge of the Guilty Gear franchise.  I’ve only played this new game and Guilty Gear Dust Strikers on the DS.  And the only reason why I got the DS version was because it was on sale and had silly little mini-games featuring some of the fighters.  I have watched some of my friends play the other Guilty Gear games, though.  And the characters I listed here aren’t in any particular order of preference.  So anyway, let’s begin!
