You know, I played the first one and found the combat repetitive... the guys were bullet sponges. I've heard the other games are much better, but I've never given it another shot.

I played Life Force endlessly on the NES when I was a kid. But shmups have gotten so insane now and I don't have the eyesight or the reflexes to handle them.

yeah, you're right, Tales music is usually pretty lackluster. But I remember Graces being especially bland.
I didn't like Zestiria very much either. But I'd like to play Berseria, I heard that was good.
