And then there's the famous "JoyCon Drift." I hope Nintendo has better QC on the Switch 2.

Cutie Q is the third in a 'series' of Namco made pinball/Breakout hybrids, the first two being Gee Bee and Bomb Bee. All three games were programmed by Toru Iwatani, who would go on to help create Pac-Man. Toru Iwatani once siad an old Japanese manga called Q-Taro was an inspiration to Pac-Man, especially the ghosts. You can see it also in Cutie Q since Q is in the name and if you look at the pink ghosts in the top middle of the screen, when you hit them with the ball, they just turn into eyes just like Pac-Man!
I tried to get a review code for Metal Slug Tactics when it first came out, but wasn't able to. Oh well.
I'm always glad for a bigger screen. And the controllers are bigger too, so hopefully that'll help. I always thought the Switch's JoyCon's felt rinky-dink in my hands. Not one of my favorite Nintendo controllers, that's for sure.
I'm not really a big fan of either Virtua Figher or Tekken. Only reason why I have a couple of Tekken games in my library is because they had a feature or mode I liked, and I still waited until they went way down in price before I got them. For instance, one or two of them had a side scrolling beat 'em up mode, and one let you unlock the old arcade game StarBlade. And the Wii U version of Tekken Tag 2 let you dress up the characters in Nintendo outfits. So I think I have those, but I didn't get them until they were less than 20 bucks (I think I got the Wii U one at 10 bucks). I think the only thing that interested me in Virtua Fighter was that in one of the games, you could unlock an outfit for Sarah Bryant that let her dress as Ulala from Space Channel 5. The only 3D fighter I really got into was Soul Calibur, but that's because it was made for dummies like me. :)
Who are your favorite VF characters? Mine are Jeffry, Sarah Bryant, and Vanessa Lewis. I don't know why I like those characters, I just do.
I'm glad they're doing a Switch 2 Experience in Dallas. I just hope I can get in.
It's been a while since we've had a new VF game, hasn't it?
Be sure to read my reviews of Yars Rising and Bakeru! Links are in the article! I just got a press release that Spike Chunsoft is having a sale, and Bakeru is up to 60 percent off until the end of January!
I'd probaby be more inclined to play a Prince of Persia game if they had more cute things in them.
Taito Legends 1 and 2 were so good. So many great games.
The SNK collection is also pretty good. It had some things even I didn't know about!
I still think BreakOut on PSOne is pretty neat, and I'm still impressed my brother Jeff beat it when he was really little.
You're not missing much if you don't play Alleyway.
By the way, I just got a press release from Spike Chunsoft that Bakeru is on sale until the end of January for up to 60 percent off. I don't know which version it is (PC or Switch) because I didn't look into it further, but it might be something for you to look into.
If you like Metroidvanias you should check out Yars Rising.
This is one of the reasons why I prefer physical over digital. But in Card Jockey's case, you don't have a choice.
