Yeah, I agree about the graphics. But I always liked some of the designs for vector man. Used to love Earthworm Jim back in the day. Played on my friend's snes.
I played a hell of a lot of Sonic when I was a kid. I loved my Genesis. I guess I played that as a tween... 11, 12, 13... I can't remember. Those were tough years, but I had my Genesis.
I got the Genesis packaged with Altered Beast, and on Christmas morning my friend came over and we played that all day. I have clear memories of that.
Alex Kidd IS pretty unforgiving. But I didn't realize that as a kid. Played a lot of that too.
My sister's boyfriend at the time bought my brother and I Golden Axe. That was a good day.
I played Vector Man on emulation years later. It does have nice graphics.

been playing DQ for switch. there are some considerable differences from the ps4. I just had a side quest that went into 2D old school dragon quest style.
Being confident in yourself can be tough. I've made a lot of progress but I still have my moments. But lately I've been thinking a lot about the word, "persistent." I think it's important to be persistent in life. It isn't easy, but it pays off.
