I fell in love with the desert on the couple of occasions I've been there. Very different from here, but in a good way.
I still totally love ToS, there are just a few minor annoyances that don't really affect my enjoyment of the game.
A. Because the woods are highly addictive.

I'm playing Tales of Symphonia Chronicles and I just booted up Afrika, which is a photo safari game that I'll blog about later.
I really wish I'd gotten Pier Solar for the Genesis when they released it. I still have a working Genesis.
How far in Alundra have you gotten? I got distracted by all my Tales games and need to get back to it at some point.
Don't get me started on Daylight Savings Time. I hate it, it wreaks havoc with my internal clock, and I HATE getting up in the dark and it was just starting to get light out at a reasonable time, too.

Netflix streamed a six episode documentary about the Iditarod several years ago that was pretty good. I don't think they have it any more, though :(
