My dad used to be the handyman for my brother's rental properties in exchange for free rent. I was his handyman's helper on weekends. Did a lot of roof-clearing, ice chipping, and he taught me how to plow. All of those things are exhausting.

It's funny how we drop things we like. I hadn't done any needlework for at least five years, if not more, until this past November and December.
