I'll do a complete Iditarod update when the last musher crosses under the burled arch and they extinguish the lantern. But to answer your question: Mitch Seavey came in first, after he and Aliy Zirkle battled it out all the way from White Mountain. I got to see Aliy's finish live, thanks to the dog deciding he needed to pee at 3AM. I'm glad I turned on the laptop to check on things.
My mom is awesome. Thanks for noticing
Sorry for your loss, Joe. I've had to make that decision three times now, two cats and dog. One of the hardest things I have ever had to do.
After my time. We didn't eat the super-sweet cereal in our house, anyway. I grew up on home-made granola and oatmeal, and when we did get store-bought cereal, it was usually corn flakes, Cheerios, or Life. And when my mom figured out that it was all the artificial crap in the food we were eating that was causing a lot of my little sister's health problems, we got even less store-bought stuff.
Wayde, is this game turn-based when it comes to combat? I might get it off PSN at some point if it is.
I like Enya, I think my favorite album that she did was Shepherd Moons. That one was a little more folk and a little less new-age than most of her other stuff. I enjoyed the Lindsey Stirling one, too. This is the kind of music that I like to listen to when I'm doing a cross-stitch project, putting together a jigsaw puzzle, doing a crossword, etc. The music is present, but not enough that it breaks my concentration on whatever task I'm working on. Actually, it usually enhances my brain's ability to work on projects like that.
Bingo. And it's funny. this guy was probably at least 25 years yonger than my grandmother, who asked me one day to tell her about why I like gaming. She'd just read an article in AARP about the benefits of puzzle games keeping the mind sharp in people with early stage Alzheimers and was curious.
I have a couple of older friends who are kind of like that. One of them proclaimed on Facebook yesterday that we need to get rid of violent video games. I started to reply and just decided to walk away.
I'm going to have to track down Twin Snakes.
Oh, hey, I'm very familiar with today's music picks, lol. Comes of having a hippie single mom who hung out on a campus at a college for draft dodgers
It's best not to let park rangers get bored...
There is nothing like real maple syrup. My grandmother would make a fresh batch of yeast rolls and we'd split them in half and pour maple syrup over them when they were fresh out of the oven. I think it's an old Maine thing, because I've talked to some other old-timers, and they remember doing the same thing, but no one outside of the state seems to do it.
