More Forza Horizon 3, Bailed on Okami, PS2 Didn't Work

I figured out how to create my own Championships in Forza Horizon 3. I made one with all Ausie cars and raced it for an acheivement and then started another with 10 races and 100 miles of track. It's a marathon and I got through 7 of the races before time ran out on the day.

I'm over level 150 and got another achievement. I did all the Forzathon challenges for several more. These are like weekly challenges. They did this sort of thing in Halo Reach. Daily, or weekly, challenges are fun.

I won that last Street Race but lost the last Midnight Showdown to complete all the street race events. I hate racing in the rain at night. I think the devs were really thrilled with their weather effects in this game. It rains, or streets are wet in the morning, quite often. I was watching Mark play the Blizzard Mt. DLC. I do not want to race in the snow, so I'll probably skip it.

Oh yeah, I bailed on Okami HD. I got to this spot where I was supposed to find some Shrine but couldn't remember where it was. I went around several major areas in the game and then just didn't want to do it anymore. I hate when you get lost in a game and then start searching every corner for a clue.

Then my PS2 wouldn't boot my new Sega Classics Collection. The disc is perfect so maybe it's the laser, but I used this system only a week ago. I'm going to try it with the game I played a few weeks ago to see if it works. If not, I'm going to trade all but a select few of my PS2 games. I can't get a new deck at the moment, so why keep all these games around.

Bailing on Okami?  Oh no!  Not my Game of the Year from 2006!  I'd help you, but I haven't played Okami since, well, 2006. :)

I'll play it again one day. I still have my PS2 copy.

Nothing I hate more than not knowing where to go in a video game.

I had no patience for it this time. I notice that I tend to get impatient when I'm renting a game. I guess I'm anxious to see the next one if the one I'm playing gets boring in any way.

It's sad to bail on games. I do it all the time.  I just don't finish them like I used to.

I'm starting to get over it. Games are so long now, it's like impossible to really complete anything anymore. Unless, of course, Mark and I get into something at the same time for months at a time. Then it's possible. But that takes two and Okami is single player and Mark was only mildly interested. When we start to compete with each other, or rather, when Mark starts getting competetive, because I'm really not like that, stuff gets done.

At least you didn't make it all the way to the end of Okami, only to get stuck on a frustrating puzzle like I did.

Ug, I hate when that happens.
