There's a headphone volume limiter in the Switch's settings that you can turn off. If you haven't done that already.

I picked up a little USB C attachment. There are a few options on Amazon but I chose the one below.
Pros:
- Not too difficult to set up with your wireless Ear Buds or headphones.
 - Comes with a USB to USB C dongle that works with the Switch dock.
 - Has a USB C port on it so you can charge while using.

Cons:
- Because it attaches to the bottom of your Switch it won't work with any charging case I know of.
 - So undocked you have to pick it up to play and charge using a standard Smartphone charger and USB to USB C or USB C to USB C cable (if the charger supports that.)
 - On some games (Tokyo Mirage Sessions comes to mind) my Jabra earbuds did not play very loud even with the volume maxed out.
