A New Era of Art

This is the beginning of something new. I am going to be posting pictures of my paintings and drawings for a series of blog entries. Depending on the response that I get from whoever it is that reads this, I will continue for your enjoyment. Here is how it will go down:

I will post something that I most recently drew, at which point you can make compliments or disparaging comments. Go to town on the art.

After I finish a drawing or painting, the comment section and messaging me will be available to suggest what I should draw next. If you are creative enough -- or if nobody else suggests anything -- I will pick your idea for my next work of art.

Be warned: I am not classically trained, so I have cultivated my own style. I do this only for fun. Sometimes it can seem a bit childish.

Oh yea, and you get the opportunity to keep the painting at whatever price it is that you decide.

Starting a new blog makes me feel like

I cannot wait to see your ideas and enjoy in the process of creating art. Remember that I am only human, so I will probably get to only one or two a month.

Enjoy.

A fascinating use of contrasting colors that explodes from the canvas.  Lettering is juvenile, yet somehow alien and thus pushes the universal themes contained within the piece. Truly extraordinary.

I remember you talking about doing this, and it's really cool to see it happening finally. It should be really fun. I'd like to see stuff that's simple but has great color and texture.

It would be awesome to see a three-colored Triforce showing the symbolism and colors of the three parts of Wisdom, Courage, and Power. So, the Triforce parts would all be connected like normal and they could be outlined in bright gold but inside the three individual triangles would each be colored and themed after the way the Goddesses are shown in Ocarina. Din being purple, Nayru being blue, and Farore being green. In addition to the color theme, each section could have a design throughout it symbolically representing each character.

Din's purple/red section could have something representing fire. Nayru's blue section could have a pattern or texture representing water. Farore's green section could have vines, flowers, or some other organic representation. You could take that concept and run with it any way you want with the Triforce outline, the color themes, and the patterns/textures to change it up any way you like. I'd just love to see you do a Triforce with different sections each having their own color theme and special designs to show the nature's of Din, Nayru, and Farore.

Great to hear from you again, 117. I would have liked to start this way back then, however, my shoulder injury pretty much derailed all of my pixlbitting for awhile there. Even the painting has been kind of low on the list of priorities. Now I'm ready to sort of commit to it. ^_^

Early contender for my next painting.

I will probably post a few more drawings in a couple of days to show the people what I am capable of in other capacities.
