Mortal Kombat mania was huge. I was even more hyped for MK2 (Nothing.... NOTHING can prepare you.) Especially when I saw the SNES version in a playable demo.

I always save any game ads I see in comics. Some of them are pretty cool. They don't seem to do this in recent comics though. Here are three I found recently.
I always played the Final Fight series hoping I'd find someone to play co-op with. It never, or very rarely, happened, but I enjoyed the side-scrolling brawling anyway.
The home version must've been pretty hotly anticipated to get an ad before it even came out on Genesis and SNES.
I was pretty excited for this when it came out in 2013 because you could get rid of the time limit and play co-op. I never got my friend to play it though. I've played a demo solo several times. I wouldn't mind revisiting it in full.
