A list of games I'd like to revisit in order of Metacritic score for the years 2004-2006 with some notes.
Half-Life 2 - I've played both console versions on Xbox and Xbox 360. Don't have it anymore.
Halo 2 - I waited in line outside Gamestop at midnight release with Mad Krammer in '04.
Gears of War - I discovered this series in the summer of 2011 as GoW 3 was about to be released. I have the Ultimate Edition on Xbox Series S.
Oblivion - I got it with my Xbox 360 summer of 2006 from Dell Computers. I've never finished it.
Burnout 3: Takedown - Spiritual successor to Destruction Derby 2 imo. I have the first three.
God of War - Always a reason to own a Playstation. I have original disc and in PS3 collection.
Okami - Remembered always with God Hand as two games I loved for Playstation in '06.
Metroid Prime 2 - I've always had it but barely played it.
Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal - Own it as part of PS3 collection. Would like PS2 version.
Advance Wars: Dual Strike - Still own it in the box. The first reason I wanted a DS.
Pikmin 2 - Owned on Wii. I guess I sold my Gamecube version as it's worth some $ now.
Burnout Revenge - Exists on OG Xbox, Xbox 360 and digitally for XSS. I've played it a lot.
Call of Duty 2 - Used as a showcase for the graphics on Xbox 360 back in '05. I'd revisit it.
Dragon Quest VIII - My first Dragon Quest game. Mad Krammer and I dug in deep on the PS2.
Metroid Zero Mission - I still own it on GBA. Loaded it up today on a DS Lite to play again.
Jade Empire - I just bought the digital version for $3 on my Xbox Seres S.
Far Cry - I played it on OG Xbox, Xbox 360 and now as Far Cry Classic on XSS.
Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay - Great looking game I used to own.
Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30 - I just got it. Includes some interesting tactical commands.
F.E.A.R. - Still looking for the 360 version I used to own but digital is available I think.
Psychonauts - I still own the OG Xbox version. Excited to revisit it.
Oddworld Stranger's Wrath - I still own this for OG Xbox. Need to finish it.
Sid Meier's Pirates - Mad Krammer and I have played this to death on all Xboxes.
Paper Mario Thousand Year Door - I have the remake now, just need to get to it.
That's my selections from the first four pages on Metacritic. All are at or above an 87 rating. It's a lot and I can think of more that I played back then that probably didn't rise as high critically.
