I got a few new/old games from various trades as I clean up my 90s era console/handheld games collection.

Tamagotchi (GB) - I couldn't find what was on my list, but I saw this and remembered how much I loved feeding familiars in Ni No Kuni and decided to get it. 

 

Dinotopia: The Sunstone Odyssey (Xbox) - I read the first kids book and didn't like the story much but the world was pretty cool. I want to spend some time there within this game. 

The Golden Compass (PS3) - I'm nearing the end of the book, and I want to wreck house with Lorek, the armored bear. This game should do it 

Mario & Luigi Dream Team (3DS) - I will have all the Mario & Luigi games eventually. I think I had this game once and even played it, but maybe not to the end. Maybe I rented it. Anyway, it is a must-have for my 3DS collection, which I'm slowly rebuilding. 

I forgot to mention that I watched a bunch of episodes of Weird Al's 90s TV show on youtube; ones with interesting guest stars like Dr. Demento, Emo Phillips, Fred WIlliard, Billy West, Dweezle Zappa and especially Patton Oswalt who's famous for many characters, especially Remy from Ratatouille. I just heard his voice as Doodad in the rather terrible sword & sorcery film Deathstalker, a remake of the 80s film I saw last week.

I like Weird Al's room full of vintage CRT TVs, reel-to-reel film cameras, phones and near abstract art pieces. It's all faintly similar to the Pee Wee's Playhouse style.
