A couple of games missing from that list are Kirby Air Ride, which I think is better than Double Dash. Also my number two favorite game of all time is on the GameCube, only being beaten by Pac-Man. Know what it is? Animal Crossing!

I won't get to NGC this month, but it's fun to peruse the Metacritic best-of list anyway. These are largely exclusives to the system I've played or have thoughts about.
Metroid Prime (MC #1) MP 2 (#16) - I've had these games many a year and tried them many a time, but have yet to get to the end of either. It's one of the few NGC game series that have survived my periodic purges of my collection. They came out during the years of Halo frenzy, '02 and '04, and I used to compare them. I could never quite get as comfortable with the controls as with Halo, but I loved exploring Metroid's universe.
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (#4) - I love cell-shaded graphics and so this Zelda always appealed to me more than any other. I need to finish it though. I've played it a bunch of times without getting to the end.
Viewtiful Joe (#8) VJ 2 (#56) - Clover Studios games - comic book look and cool fighting style. My friend Mad Krammer and I were way into this series at the time, '03 and '04. We enjoyed the comedy elements and tough over-the-top fighting.
Star Wars Rogue Squadron: Rogue Leader (#22), Rebel Strike (#181) - These were the first games, starting in '01, that made me want a GameCube. They should've just called Rogue Leader Rogue Squadron 2. I was a big fan of the first RS game on N64 and followed developer Factor-5 all the way through Lair on PS3 years later. I found both new RS games difficult though. I'd love to revisit them. Luckily, they are NGC games I never traded.
Pikmin 2 (#24), Pikmin (#27) - Probably my favorite series from Miyamoto. Sorry Mario. I love RTS style games, especially when they are as accessible as this and not always centered around war gaming. I still have the first game on NGC, but the second one I traded for mad credit because I had the Wii New Play Control version anyway. I kind of wish I hadn't done that though. I wish I could cover my NGC with a Pikmin skin.
Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door (#47) - Probably my favorite Mario game outside of the Mario & Luigi series. It's astonishingly creative and fun. I traded my copy when the remake came out for Switch for that mad trade-in credit (regrets), but I'd get it again in a heartbeat just to establish it as one of my favorite NGC games.
Mario Kart Double Dash (#48) - I never did get this game, but I've been interested in it ever since it came out in '03 because of the co-op racing element. I was always trying to find co-op games to play with Mad Krammer. Alas, this was never on sale cheap enough for me to pick up and it's pricey to this day.
Skies of Arcadia Legends (#67) - Mad Krammer and I played the heck out of this on Dreamcast. I always wanted this somewhat upgraded version on NGC, but it was never cheap enough. I should've sprung for it back in '03, though, because it's well out of reach for me today. A great RPG that I hope would get a remaster someday soon.
Luigi's Mansion (#143) - I traded this too and regret it, but at least I beat it before that. I want it back now. I recently saw a Lugi's Mansion arcade machine in a youtube video (based on Dark Moon, however, I found out). I didn't know that existed.
WarioWare Inc. (#169) - I want all the Wario games right now after being wowed by Shake It! recently.
Battalion Wars (#170) - I was really excited for this back in '05 because I thought of it as the Advance Wars for NGC. Apparently, it was originally meant to be part of that series but changed for the west. It was in third-person and the controls were confusing, if I remember right. I would like to revisit it.
Ultimate Spider-Man (#173) - The cell-shaded version of the more realistic Spider-Man games that were coming out during the first run of Spider-Man movies circa '05 when this came out. I ended up playing it on Xbox, but I always wanted my cell-shaded games on GameCube, and I will get it there eventually. It's my favorite Spider-Man game.
That's everything listed at a rating of 75 and up that I have thoughts on. There are others of interest to be sure. Feel free to tell me all about them. I'm willing to try anything.
I should mention that my console is the Silver (or Platinum) GameCube. It came in many colors. I've seen collectors on youtube with all the variants. I like the silver best. Bling, bling, baby!
I still have the GameBoy Player as well. I found out recently that just the disc for the GB Player goes for $100 now! I'm not trading that though. No way. Tell me to stop if I even mention it.
