I picked up my preorder for Earth Defense Force 4.1: The Shadow of New Despair for PS4 today (see pic below). This is the improved version of EDF 2025. I got it with some discount after a half dozen trades of games I've already played. I'd like to get through more of my backlog to create more trade bait for new games. After watching a bunch of videos here at Pixlbit last night, 2016 is looking like a crazy good year full of games I'd like to have day-one.

Sounds like a diagnosis doesn't it? I spent just a short time gaming today; about two hours worth. Mark and I had to go get a sound bar for his TV and then, later, I had to go see my niece in a musical. But I'll relate what I got.

Today, it was yet more Skylanders purchases and long hours of blasting bugs and robots in EDF: Insect Armageddon. I can't seem to wrap this game up. It just keeps me there for yet more attempts to beat it on the harder difficulties.

Then the SuperChargers figures are buy-one-get-one-free. So I got the SuperChargers starter kit for Xbox One, Trap Team starter kit (also for Xbox One), and two SuperCharger figures that work with each other: Dive-Clops and his vehicle Dive Bomber. The salesman and I were joking that Dive-Clops looks like a tiny Big Daddy from BioShock. Maybe he's Little Baby Brother. Check out the pic below:

I've been using this site a lot lately. I've also been keeping records on how long I've spent playing each game. I've been doing it for several years now. That's some information I could add to their database. There were some games there that I played that either didn't exist on their site yet or didn't have any play time data for them. I thought I'd fix that and add all the data I've accumilated so far. I have the same user name over there as here. I'm going to explore their site a bit more over the next few weeks. I started today thinking I would start EDF: Insect Armageddon and probably give up on it pretty quickly, but I played the campaign on Hard online and managed to find a few players who made it really fun. Mind
