This is absolutely mindblowing. After playing for the Sony team for so long, it's going to take some getting used to with him at Microsoft.
One piece of advice, Phil, please get Rare doing something worthwhile again. Thanks.

Same here. Online play holds nothing for me at this point. I prefer the good old days where you could hop into any game on PC and play without microphones or anyone harassing you.
I do enjoy the rare occasion I can play with friends, but it's so infrequent that I could really live without the online play. Honestly, when I do get the opportunity to play with friends, I'd rather they just come over, but god knows it's only a matter of time before local multiplayer is gone for good.
Sometimes the state of gaming makes me really sad. I wish we could go back to a simpler time.
I am aware of the two control schemes and I have played with both - the problem here is not my lack of knowledge on said topics. Rather, I botched my explanation of the problem. I went back into the game and did some better analysis of what the root cause of my issue was and the problem was not with the controls, but the perspective. The fact that you control the RC as if you're in it was confusing due to the overhead camera.
I've amended the review to reflect this. While my explanation was a bit off, my overall impression of the game remains the same. That perspective makes it very hard to wrap your head around the controls and when combined with the other little issues, controlling the game can often be an exercise in frustration.
I know it was a tangent at the very end, but the Silent Hill movie is actually a good video game movie that's mostly true to its source material. I didn't think Prince of Persia was too bad in terms of video game movies, but it wasn't all that great either. Kind of on par with the Resident Evil movie in that regard.
Also, I'm very excited for Assassin's Creed III. I'm glad that it's a real sequel unlike the last two, so I'm hopeful that it brings a bunch of new stuff.
I don't see your point - the PSP was a handheld and it let you manage save data. Angelo was merely pointing out that something made 7 years ago lets you do it, so why shouldn't this device - home console or not.
I agree Michael, I was moved by it as well. I felt some definite panic as they began disassembling her and I'm sure it would've been heart-wrenching to have seen her totally destroyed.
I have to wonder if part of the problem is that this one looks so close to real and is also depicting a robot that it's like double time on the uncanny valley experience.
This was pretty amazing and quite touching at that. I love Quantic Dream's work - still need to play Heavy Rain though.
I wish companies would understand that it's futile to fight piracy with these measures. The result is always that paying consumers are hurt or otherwised inconvenienced.
I really love Sim City and this seems to be including everything I've ever wanted from this series. Count me in.
