I played a few hours of F.E.A.R. and it was scary. I just got frustrated with the shooter stuff. Not sure how to describe it really. Maybe I'll give it another shot someday.

I was listening to Nintendo Voice Chat the other day. It was the episode about the history of Factor 5 makers of Star Wars Rogue Squadron. Besides it being an awesome review of that devs history, the guy interviewed, Julian Eggebrecht said he was making a game called Touch Fish which uses a really complex evolution system that reminds me of the Spore game. I tried to find a trailer or something and couldn't. Anyway, this is all to say that evolutions in games are awesome and I want to see more of them.
I rewatched the first Dirty Harry movie recently. I was surprised because it's basically like a commercial for the NRA. (faux announcer voice) "The law's too easy on criminals and Dirty Harry is so mad, he's takin' justice into his own hands with a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world." The movie was super fun to watch though.
I'm thinking about a new car right and I do not look forward to dealing with salespeople. I'm going to know exactly what car I want and what price and not budge an inch until I get it. At least that's my plan. I wonder if I can download a car?
I really love collecting but I've had to get myself to stop or go broke. I'm ok now. Just. . . a little sad. But I'll get what I've got together sometime soon and post a pic or two. Your collection is really cool. I really want to try the Record of Agarest War series sometime.
Ok, if I had Algebra books, I definitely would have sold those for video games. I was an English major though and you'd have to pry my Complete Works of Shakespeare from my cold dead hands before I'd let that go.
Wow, I never knew about that lock-on thing. What a great idea!
Tried F.E.A.R. once. Didn't enjoy the fps stuff. Too much of a cover-based shooter for my tastes. I really wanted to like it though.
So tempted to pick this up. Frankly I played the demo for the first one and felt like there was so much dazzle and visual pyrotechnics that I could barely see what I was doing. Still, with all the talk it's garnered, and the great dev team (which I admire), and the insane boss fights, I really want to give it another shot. It's now my third reason to own a Wii-U behind Pikmin 3 and Zelda Wind Waker HD.
That's really cool. My Dad and I also went fishing sometimes. I'll be at the beach at Thanksgiving and was thinking on a boat trip kinda like what we used to do. I wasn't so much into fishing myself. I just wanted to see the fish and maybe take pictures. But I fished because he wanted to.
