I'm going to look for Pac-Man 256 on Xbox this weekend. I'm sure I saw it there one time.

Weren't they all "follow your nose" adventures? It was a novel idea and made games more like tv shows, but it ran its course much like toys-to-life games.
But, thinking about it a little more, their episodic structure was adopted by a lot of games, and so it's less like it "ran its course" than its ideas were just subsumed into other game genres.
I do remember the absolutely rabid interest in Telltale games when they became popular. One of those award shows showcased them a lot one year.
I had my PS3 up a little while ago. I want to hook it up again as I still have a bunch of physical games for it (digital too). I discovered Demon's Souls and Valkyria Chronicles on that system.
I finally finished the videos. He didn't mention the title to Pac-Man 256, so I had to look it up. I think I want to try that one next.
Does Pac-Man have the most sequels, spin-offs and remakes of any game franchise or what? That's a huge number of games Slopes went through.
I find a god mode sort of fun for a little while but then it gets really boring because nothing in the game really matters anymore. You don't have to hunt for gear to use strategy to survive or anything. My friend, though, is endlessly amused by it and it looking for more god-gear to buy on ebay. To each his own, I guess.
I've come to like them a bit as a casual break from other stuff.
I keep seeing Baldur's Gate I & II and Planescape Torment on Xbox and want to get them. I haven't yet. I did play some Bard's Tale (the original one) however,
I remember playing Viewtiful Joe 2 and then hoping for a third but we got Red Hot Rumble, a battle arena style game I believe, and then Double Trouble for DS. I was disappointed and so was my friend who had played 1 and 2 along with me. We wanted a mission-based console game.
I love arcade racers much better than simulation racers.
I played an hour or two of Pillars of Eternity recently. I'd like to go back to it sometime.
Borderlands 3 and soon a host of others. I'm kind of excited to try some Fallout 76. Maybe I've played it before though and just forgot. I think it was Fallout 4 though.
